Is it possible Lebron James is a flop?
I mean he couldn't win in Cleveland and he blamed the coaches and now he can't win in Miami. Why do we always blame the coaches? Could he actually be a flop?

No, he's not a flop. Maybe just not as great as everybody thought. Maybe he's Drexler/Dominique?

no he is better than everyone thinks. most great players make others better, but to make your teammates worst you have to be really really amazing.

LeFraud has fooled everyone. All this guy has done since HS is cause his teammates to shrink and place blame on everyone else. He even faked people into crowning him King.

When they call you "possibly the greatest player of all time", I think your ego might enlarge a bit. 3 big egos in Miami with ridiculously overrated expectations = disaster.

Every team needs to be called an underdog. Every player needs to be doubted. Once they lose that title their next challenge is ego.

i don't know why you gave me points since you dont like lebron and i think this shows he is one of the 5 best players to ever play basketball. no one else has ever been so good that the other players on the team just stand around and watch in amazement. he is so good he made d-wade an average player.

Lebron is a great player, I think he probably should have stayed in Cleveland since I don't see how he is going to accept a lesser role that he has to play on the Heat.

I say Lebron is as good as Kobe(when he was healthy).

For all of Lebron's amazing talents there are several holes in his game. He has never been Jordan and he isn't as good as Kobe. Lebron has talents, but they are not suitable to being a primary mover of a championship caliber team. Wade, for all purposes is basically the same skill set but with more heart, courage, and determination. Wade has the drive. Wade is a winner. Lebron is a pretender. Wade took a piece of shit Marquete team to the final 4 as a Senior. One of the most amazing runs in March Madness of my life time. Lebron is only a threat with the ball in his hands and then it's not a huge threat because he really has never had a consistent jumper. he also is not a good FT shooter. Lebron makes highlights because he is big and very athletic and his dunks get the crows going but in the end they are only worth 2 pts.. Just like at the end of the game tonite when they were down by 8-10 under 1 minute and the Magic gave him the dunk.. He did it because it was free and padded his stats. What the Heat needed was a 3ptr there to have any chance.. Wouldn't have mattered anyways but the right play was to shoot the 3 rather than dunk, then foul and give the 2 pts back up?

Because your post proves my point. Lebron = shrinking teammates. He hogs the ball so much that guys stand around and don't know what to do. I could go down a long list of players who got thrown under the bus playing under Lebron.

Now, I definitely don't agree with you saying Lebron is a top 5 player. I'm not sure if your being serious or sarcastic? Lebron's not even a top 50 player at this point.

He's good, MAC. I think your bitterness towards him for leaving is affecting your judgement on that last comment.

bron bron is a top 2 player, he only lead the shitty cavs to a few number 1 seeds, while the boston trio was in tack, orl was going hard, atl was hanging around. last year he quit in the playoffs, anybody who watches bball could tell u that. this guy is legit, give the heat some time. i think they only had 3 players that played together and now their down to 2 wade and chalmers, cant count anthony he blows. greatness takes time doesnt happen overnight.

Pauulz - I'm really not bitter. I'm glad he left the Cav's, it was time to go and after he tanked games, I didn't want him on the team. Am I relishing his failure? Oh, yes but I'm not bitter that he left. If you check the forums here last year I said it was time for change.

I still stand by my statement that he's probably a top 50 guy "right now". If he keeps up his current stats for the next 5 - 7 years he will move up. I think he's already peaked and is on the decline of his career. He's played a lot of basketball on his legs and he's really not a basketball player. He's more like a football player body playing the game. His game is very one dimensional and he hasn't improved his shooting, post moves, FT's, etc. This is his worst year ever at rebounding and he turns the ball over WAY TOO much. Anyone not noticing his decline is in denial or hasn't really seen him play much.

The only people who think Lebron's a top 10 player ever are very, very young. The Con continues.

He does turnover the ball too much and his ballhogging is bad for the Heat.

I agree he'll fade away as the years go by, because he'll lose his strength.

He's not TALENTED like Kobe, who works hard and as every year goes by, improves his jumpshoots and a few other stuff.

But right now, he's still TOP-10 on the league.

Well there's over 100 players that have more points than Lebron... I'm sure the formatting is going to suck but here you go. Lebron has A LOOOONG way to go to get in the top 20. The way he's regressing already, I'd bet he won't make top 10. Lot of miles on his legs already and he doesn't have a jumpshot.

LeBron will easily score 30,000 by the end of his career. Is he going to be top 10 ever? He was on his way but the bad decision and now an average/above average team will hamper that

LOL, I'd have to say that Lebron is definitely top 5 today and possibly #2 or #1. He's a freak athlete for the game of basketball. The guy is the size and weight of Julius Peppers and one of the fastest guys in the league. I call it as I see it. He's a top talent in the league... BUT, for all his athleticism he's missing a lot of key tools in the game. His jumper, free throw shooting, and post up game are the most troublesome. But he also takes plays off and doesn't get in the flow of the game at times and doesn't involve his teammates.

Most of all he doesn't have the desire to win. He'd rather have fun, be famous and make money instead of being hell bent on winning. After he tanked game 5 he walked off the court and it didn't even phase him. A true winner wouldn't go to sleep until he redeemed himself. He doesn't have the killer instinct and would rather defer to someone else to take the last shot.

It's actually sad because if he spent time honing his craft, he could really be one of the best ever but he doesn't seem to have a high work ethic and is just relying on his God giving gifts. He'd rather practice trick shots instead of free throws. I saw Jordan lose to Boston and Detroit and get determined to win. I saw him work on his body and improve his shot in order to take the rigors of the post season. lebron hasn't gotten better lately.

Suppose Lebron regrets not deciding on the Bulls?

Only time will tell but Lebron haven't won shit yet and there are no more excuses. It's not the coaches fault or his teammates fault anymore. He has to play ball or shut up.

LeBron is a very good player. But his move to the Heat did not step up his game. His game was better when he was carrying the load. Sharing the load is making him soft. Reminds me when Karl Malone joined the Lakers and most thought they were a lock to win it all.
