Only because the last 4 points should have never happened. I still think minny was the right play, and I've seen a lot more absurd things happen in the NBA. But whining about a loss doesn't make me suck at picking winners. The mature thing to do would be just not mention it, but we all share our pains and sorrows here. (hence the 4 threads on this topic)

Your a dumba$$. Bad teams cover too. Minn is 6-8 ATS. Miami is 5-9 ATS. So your point means nothing. Only that you know dick about sports gambling. What happened in this game should get looked at by the league. Your down 8 with 5 seconds left and you foul??? And the spread so happens to be 9.5

i distinctly remember a wolves game last year when they were down like 8 to the cavs and failed to cover 13.5...some teams do seem to pull this shit more often than others

Problem w/Minny is they lose consistently with bad defense, and until that changes you're just going to keep losing $$$ trying to predict a random ATS cover. You watch 'em cover a couple of games, think they're undervalued, then jump in & get pummeled like tonite.

This. I remember that game clearly. They were down around 9-10 with 10 seconds to go, the spread was around 13.5 as you said and they kept fouling until they lost the game by 14. Incredible.

                  Timberwolves SHOULD be investigated!

Just looked at the play-to-play boxscore. How in the hell a team could be up with 1 minutes remaining in the game and failed to win ATS as a 10-points dog.
