i remember in shari's thread you said you dumped 5K on youzhny at some horrible odds... he lost the first set, retired in the 2nd. it was always a -EV play, as was this. I suppose lessons in gambling can only be learnt the hard and expensive way

maybe it seems like that to people who have only seen one bucks game when they sh*t on the court against the celtics or even less than that. they win for the same reasons the hornets win....bench, well-roundedness and defense.

i got greedy bro.. easy $1,765.. well obviously it's not..

yep i bet $5,000 on youzhny the other day and got so lucky it got refunded.. bet the $5,000 on ATL -ML and this shit happened.. i think i'm destined to loss that 5 grand anyway.. why in the world ATL will lose to MIL at their home.. learned a big lesson here and will stay with money management.. dammit it still hurts..

yup, MM is the key to long term gambling success. its probably better than you had the youzhny lesson and lost this one TBH - if you won them both, i could see things getting out of hand with 10K bets and chasing that etc...

at least it wasn't painful, in that it was over by the 2nd half compared to a buzzer beater.
