What's the deal with new orleans this year?
I didn't really follow the hornets too much last season but i know they weren't very good and now all of a sudden this season they are undefeated and winning on the road at home against good teams like the heat and spurs. I don't understand, what did they do over the offseason that they are so good now? Does anybody follow this team that can explain to me?

    chris paul..
guy has had injury bug season..
because of that injury and his back up pg collisons improvement many people overlooked the guy they claimed as "the best pg in the planet" while he was healthy..
also trevor ariza is a big plus on their offense..
d.west is good with paul, people also forgot hes capable of scoring like he did during their great run

So this isn't an anomaly then and the hornets are going to be a stellar team this year or are they going to come back down to earth and play some mediocre ball and even out?

          i dont know..
but the season before the injuries, i think they are one of the top teams on the west, they went on and wom their firs round series..

im not sure if they will be a playoff team or if they will go deep on the playoffs..
but one thing is for sure, chris paul and NO have been overlooked due to their performances on their injury bug season

They went 58-24 in '08, and were seeded second.

Injuries and the Okafor trade set them back, but when Paul is on, they're a 50 win team.

They will be good fade material ATS once Vegas adjust the lines
