#3The Knicks of today are the Raptors of the last 5 years.
You had Bosh surrounded by a supposed good Italian (Barniangni) and thats about it.
Now you have Amare surrounded by a supposed good Italian (Gallinari) and thats about it.
Raps are really no worse off without Bosh and are a much better home team. So Take the Raps on the Money Line.

#7Knicks are starting rookies Fields and Mozgov.
Raps have depth off the bench unlike NY.
Pinnacle and Greek are hanging -1 for TOR.
Sorry Houli, gotta disagree with this one.Comment -

#10I agree NYK is the right play here. Toronto's starters are really decent backups.Scared money don't make money

#11In the previous 2 seasons, the Raptors missed the playoffs and had sub .500 seasons with Bosh at the helm putting up career numbers in each of the past 2 seasons. So from the get go, they cant really have that substantial of a decline, especially after 33 wins 2 years ago. Losing his production on offense isnt a big deal, as the Raptors were one of the better units last year and actually didnt suffer much of a drop off at all in terms of points per 100 possessions when he was injured. What hurt the team all year was their defense. Bosh was a weak inside defender and poor on transition and help D. The team has focused this year on improving in these areas, and pre season seems to have pointed in that direction.
Speaking of pre season, the team went 4-4, seemingly beating teams they should compete with (PHX, NYK, PHILLY) and losing to teams better than them (BOS, CHI). This all points to a similar trend with their record last year, and I expect them to finish around 33-38 wins and beat teams like the NYK at home... just as they have handled them in years past on home court.Comment -

#13One more point about Bosh.
If you watched last nights game, you would have noticed what many Raptor fans saw as Bosh's main flaw; his inability to play in the post. Bosh is just jump shooting SG/SF tall enough to play the 4. He will be redundant in Miami as they already have 2 guys who can shoot and create their own shots, and Miami will not dominate as people predicted if there is no inside presence. You cant imagine how many times Bosh can get the ball in the post and turn it over because he has no clue how to play with his back to basket or what to do when they double team him.Comment -

#14Bosh was not a big loss for Toronto. I actually think they will play better without him because he was always their 'go to' guy, when in reality he's not much more than an average player who can shoot better well from the outside. They don't have a 'go to' guy this year and this will help them beat weaker squads (such as NY) but struggle against the better teams.Comment -
