jhack, it changes every year around here man. you just gotta keep your eyes peeled if you want to follow someone. two years in a row now, the most popular people aren't posting in consecutive years for one reason or another.

lakerboy is the best capper from a units standpoint i've ever seen. shoebox was a close second. those two are incredible. but they're not here posting plays so really it's anyone's guess who's gonna be the next carrier of the torch.

Lakerboy made us all a great deal of money. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. However, with such a great season last year, he put himself in a lose-lose situation. If he made say 60 units this year (still a great year) he would still get the haters popping up through a rough patch. He would have had to match those 200 units to get any credit. Simply, it isn't worth it for him to even post. I wish he would because he is a great capper and a great guy but if he doesn't want to do it everyone should just lay off of him. From what I have been told he makes a great income and a family.

Good luck this year LB. Hopefully you will still post some of your thoughts.

I think Lakerboy has discover something - posting picks gains you two disadvantages:

            1) Haters when you falter (shit, you even get these guys when you win), and everybody will have a bad run no matter how good you are
            2) Bending the market when folks really start following you.

And on the other hand, a couple of "you da man" posts doesn't help much.

don't tail. make your own picks, or don't gamble. that's the bottom line.
