Damn Orion, pretty long commute huh? Eagles aren't that bad. Die Hard fans. I was born a Giants fan, my whole family is, but I jumped shipped after Parcels left, and became a Raiders fan in 1992. Still pull for the Giants though, unless they're playing the Raiders. I remember back in 01 or 02, I went to Giants Stadium in my Raiders gear, in that game that it poured all day. All the Giants fans were threatening to throw me off upper deck, after the Raiders were whooping on em, haha.

Well, South Jersey is the only place you can buy a house where taxes aren't 10 grand. Yeah a know a lot of people left when Parcels left. That's funny about them wanting to throw you off. So, you see how the Meadowlands is a mess right now. Whatever they are building, it will be huge with a ski slope and all. Guess we need a ski slope in Jersey...
Living in Jersey and working in Manhattan is no easy ride either.

Yeah, Xanadu (or however you spell it). My uncle's company was supposed to get the stone contract for the whole site. They won the bid, wrote up the prelim contract, and it was supposed to be a done deal. His son on the other hand, was a moron, and lost the gig by saying stupid shit to the head of the General Contracting firm, and the guy had him on speaker phone. I had the architectural prints from the whole job, but they went out the window after I quit my uncle's company. Now I work for a pretty big firm in NYC, that does a lot of Turner/Bovis work. From the early prints I had, that place looked like it's going to come out pretty cool.

Wow, that's pretty cool you were involved like that. Damn, stupid for the son. I thought I heard about something not going through and it was on hold for a bit. I did see a computer generated picture of the finished area. I does look amazing. Do you know when it will be finished? 2010?

I don't have anything against them at all. It just bothers me somethings how they treat each other. The men have no respect for their wives. I actually saw in a store a couple was walking out the door and the man went out first and let the door slam into the wife as she was carrying all the bags.

Originally, I believe most of it was supposed to be completed by the 4Q of 2008. The rail that will connect it to Penn Station in NYC was scheduled for completion by 2Q of 2009. So all together, middle of 2009. I think you're more right on with 2010, things are moving slow over there. I heard there's a lot of union problems with the Ironworkers and the Laborers, and who's jurisdiction it is. Not sure how true that is though.

Never heard of Larchmont. I know New Rochelle well though. My company did the new Trump building across from the movie theatre/mall @ New Roc City. I was there for a month. Nice place, parking was easy too, but traffic around that area is a bitch at 2:00-3:00.

Yeah, the mall is real nice, and the streets are all cobble stone, it looks like a rich neighborhood. But, say the Trump Bldg is on your right, and the mall's parking garage is on your left, if you walk straight two or three blocks, it starts getting a little rough. Funny you mentioned crack though, I was actually offered crack over there at lunch time. Told the dude to bring me some good snow the next day instead of the rock, and he had a deal. But, he never showed up.
