Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, and Deron Williams are under contract for 2 more season with options for a 3rd. If there is a lockout next year it might be the last year these 3 palers play for there teams.

the PG's Willimas and Paul i'd say are gone for sure, most likley one will end up in Brooklyn with Carmelo

Utah trading AK47 and getting Diaw puts them under the luxury cap tax, and I also heard D.J. Augustine is getting sent to the Nets. Even with the Bobcats sending away Diaw and Augustine I still thinks this trade makes them a much better team. Utah is definitely getting screwed though...

considering diaw is basically useless, the bobcats did indeed get a good upgrade. devin harris is overrated IMO however, and augustine isn't really that bad. But like i said, still an upgrade.

concurr wiht eveyrone else about the jazz. nuggets get favors and AK, not crazy about that, basically banking on favors for the future, hope the 1st round picks pay off for them. nets traded away harris and favors for a great scorer and a capable PG that shows promise. good deal.

How is this bad trade for the Nets? Devin Harris is a good player but he is no Carmelo. Who knows what Favors will be, personally I think he is 2-3 years from doing ANYTHING. The Nets are now a piece away from competing. I really like the Nets young players. Lopez, Williams, Uzoh, Morrow, James, Zoubek is a good core of young guys. Throw in Farmar, Outlaw, Melo and you have a playoff team in the East.

Devon Harris was not enough
Lopez and Anthony will be great together
DJ Augustine also quality player.

not sure y he would want to go to the nets or knicks by trade
none of those rosters are better than the nuggets current roster
plus they have to give up players to get him
