1 Q Home team and 2nd half home team

Well, I've been in a losing streak for a long time. Trying to break out of it. Going to try something I have been tracking on paper:

Bet each home team for the 1st Q.

Any home team that loses 1st Q, bet 2nd half for double amount of 1Q bet.

Not going to go crazy with this, going to put a few hundred at risk total. Let's see what happens.

Wash -2 1/2 Lost 1 unit Bet double on 2nd Half
Toronto -2 Won 1 unit
Boston -3 1/2 Lost 1 unit Bet double on 2nd Half

Memphis -2 Won 1 unit
Detroit -3 Won 1 unit
Utah -3 Won 1 unit
Phoenix -4 Lost 1 unit Bet double on 2nd half

Don't EVER listen to announcers while playing this strategy. They will run their mouths on and on about how one team is going to blow out the other team, and you will second guess yourself when it comes time to make the second half bet.

I have been paper tracking this all season. It's pretty simple.

For each home team:

Bet to win 1 unit for the 1 Quarter. If this bet loses then bet to win 2 units for the 2nd half. If the 1 Quarter bet wins then stop.

Scroll back through scores over the past couple of weeks and you will see what I am talking about. I don't think there was a losing night in the last two weeks using this strategy.

One word of caution. Do NOT watch the games, because then you will second guess your second half play. The announcers talk so much stupid shit they will sway your mind and you will second guess yourself.

I have no idea why this would work, but it does.

I should clarify that because of juice you have to bet slightly more than double on the second half bet. At my book a first quarter bet is -120, so if you lose you lose $120. You want to bet to win $240 on the second half bet which would be $288 to win $240.

There is a lot of variance on this bet. So, I wouldn't go crazy with it.
