Im a Toronto Blue Jays, Los Angeles Kings and Minnesota Vikings fan so you cant say I follow only winners. I have been a Raptors fan foreever but I am so excited by what is happening with this trio getting together that I am switching.

I think were gonna see something special and awesome next season...I cannot wait to watch them play together. Win or lose I will still cheer for them. If they can get good players to complete the team watch out!!!!!

P.S. I am not a fan of any team. However, I am a fan of the NBA which makes me have to like/be objective with every team..

I have been cheering for Raptors for a really long time and I am just tired and watching the management screw them up. They are not going anywhere and never will in my opinion.

On the other hand we have a team getting three players that I love to watch play and respect. Even though a lot of people dont agree with their move I say why not...They are good friends and want to try this...Why not let them do it. If they dont succeed well they dont succeed but I think they will make it happen.

I agree with you except for the for life part...As mentioned above I have been through plenty losing seasons with my actual teams (BlueJays, Kings and Vikings) but I dont think to be a real fan you have to stick to them for life.

A not real fan: Is one that will switch teams from year to year based on previous years results.

Everyone is allowed their own opinion so thanks for you input

I think you mean TRAITOR. But regardless, it's hard not to be excited about the Heat for next season. Anyone that says you can't start following a team once they become interesting, or that you're not a "real" fan for doing so, is taking pro sports far too seriously.

Duby i'm with you bro, thought the exact same thing. Been a Jays and Leafs fan my whole 30 year life. Never really liked the Raptors I just went to their home games because I live in Toronto. I think D.Wade is just crazy good, Bosh is a class act and Lebron is just a fukking BOSS imo. Never had a "NBA Team" but do now, LETS GO HEAT BABY. Buying that #6 Lebron jersey sometime this summer for sure

I'm a lifelong Cleveland fan and neither the Indians, Cav's or Browns have won it all in my lifetime. In fact the last time the city had a winner was the year I was born so maybe I started the curst. Either way, I'm happy with their accomplishments. Only one team can win it all and we've come close probably more than any other city, so we're always in the hunt. I love Cleveland being the brunt of jokes because those people obviously have never been to Cleveland which means one less fool to take our beautiful woman.

One day, one of my teams will win it all and I'll cherish it much more than a bandwagon Laker or Celt fan whose teams win it every other year. There's nothing wrong with jumping onboard other teams, especially if you like basketball. I was a Clipper season tix holder when I lived in LA and I knew up front they weren't going to win anything. I just like to be entertained. A team of rich millionaires does not define me by them winning or losing.

I am a Knicks fan I was one year old when they won, they too have had some lean years, but Patrick did not abandon ship, Lebron talks a lot for a man who has won nothing and needs several people to fight his losing battle, I will say a prayer for both of our teams. The heck with the Heat, just remember injuries are a part of sports.........

I hate to be a someone who jumps on a bandwagon but I think I might be a fan of the Heat now.

I should not have to go through my 20's being a Knicks fan. It was incredible back in the mid to late 90's when I was a teen, now I don't feel the Knicks can propel without a superstar. The Knicks have very few players that can progress this team. We have the new guys and the throw around guys. We just picked up a great player. Now we just need an AllStar.
