    A Fun 2-3-2 Statistic...
Since 1985, the year the 2-3-2 format was used for the first time, when a series is tied 1-1 after 2 games, the team that wins game 3 takes the series 100 percent of the time (10 out of 10 times).

    17 hours until game time.

If you really truly believe Phil Jackson's 47-0 after a game 1 win stat is a truism, and have LA to take the series, this stat should push you into hammering the ML. GL all.

Aside from the bad calls, this is the most exciting series in the last couple years.

It's simple if history keeps on, and so far in these playoffs they pretty much have, the Lakers win tonight and win it all. I think in 7 ...

If the Celtics win tonight or win the championship one or two of the strongest stats in the NBA is dead.
I hope they both keep on going.

btw I got some pm's ... I'm NOT a Lakers fan. I'm a HUGE Rockets fan. None of my comments or picks are because or anything like that. I want a great series and a profitable one.

Can you tell us how many times it was the lesser seed (game 3 home team) and how many times it was the higher seed (game 3 away team) that won game 3 and eventually the series?

The first one is LA/Boston in 85, how fitting.

Boston had HCA, and blew game 3 to the Lakers in LA, and LA went on to take it.

                                              1/1 for the away team...

in 88 LA had HCA and ended up taking game 3 in Detroit.

1 for home, 1 for away

So, 7/10 times the team who began the finals with home court advantage wins game 3 after a 1-1 split, 100 percent of the time the team who takes game 3 wins, 100 percent of the time (47-0) Phil Jackson has won a playoff series after winning game 1 and this celtics starting 5 has never lost a playoff series...

how will it all add up when the 48 minutes are through?

                                                  Game time in 11 hours.

when the series is 1-1 the road team is 4-2 SU and 5-1 ATS in game 3 since the 2-3-2 format.

Hey, sorry for the ignorance, but what is SU, and ATS mean?

Also I have seen people typing "BOL"... what does this mean?

                                                              Thank you

I thought there were 10 such games not 6. With 6 it does favor the road team which is where I'm leaning. I wonder if Bos will start strong and a better # will be available in live betting in the 1st half? LA starts strong at home regularly but on the road in the playoffs? Can't wait for game time.
