Funny how people don't take the time to read. The thread title you are referring to simply came from the ESPN article I was posting.

How I feel about the Lakers personally has nothing to do with my opinion. They have successfully outscored their opponents thus far in the playoffs. They have not been winning with defense. You don't need FG % numbers to prove that, just simply watch the games. Kobe was even furious after their game 5 defense against the Suns. Their defense against Utah was poor as well.

You threw in a lot and I do mean a lot of your own opinion downing the Lakers in that thread. Now that they rolled to the fianls its understandable that you want to back away from your 100% wrong position. Still, that thread was a lot more than just some article.

Either way, game is going well under.

Currently on pace for about 186... Hardly a sure thing.

Never said anything was a sure thing. I get pace at about 182 and would expect 4th quarter low scoring. once a game gets into late 3rd or early 4th, being on pace to go 10 points under is pretty big. unders are never a sure thing, there is always Overtime

I know, I know, every Laker fan is going to come in here saying that the regular season doesn't matter and that they will turn it on in the playoffs. However, the Lakers haven't shown an ability to flip that switch this year. As I kept saying around the trade deadline, they screwed up majorly by not getting Hinrich when they could have. Now you have the most unproductive starter in the league (Fisher), a center who is injured worse than people thought, Gasol playing without much confidence, and tension building within the team.

The Lakers are only 13-7 since the All-Star Break, hardly a strong record. Kobe is putting up his worst production in 10 years, the Lakers have a huge problem at PG, and the rift between Kobe and his teammates is growing.

Currently down 17 to the Hawks. This Lakers team is weak, has no depth, and can't guard PGs.
These are all things YOU said in that thread Williams. These quotes were not in the article, but rather things you said. i said you have a right to your opinion, and of course we have all been wrong about things but when you're wrong admit it. Dont try to back away and blame it on me not reading the thread. i read the thread and your anti-Lakers feeling was very obvious.

the fact that its a 20 point game after 3 bodes very well for the under. Wont be a lot of bull shit fouling at the end. I still say it goes under

That was a great game. Even with the near 60 point 3rd quarter, all the fouling, all the Laker second chance points, and Kobe's 3 at the end of the game it still went under.

                                              Yep under was the call.

I dont understand today though. Now we have no "rust factor" and I would expect both offenses adjust to the other defense, yet the total is now 189.

Second half of game 1 had 100 points scores, although if one is being honest you would have to admit the "over" got all the breaks in game 1 and the game still went under. So to me, 189 is too low to play it under but I dont like it over. there probably wont be 30 free thrown in the third quarter today, just a guess.

I am going with the Celtics + 6 small. They have to give it there all today.

I think its pretty clear the total was too high. Every game but 1 has gone under, and the average total now about 180
