Yep, Nash is so ado about offense that he even makes the other teams offense better.

Stockton is the best PG ever..... I think question should be Steve Nash vs. Jason Kidd, who is the better player?

Not really sure, but John Stockton was a bad defensive player regardless of his steal numbers

              John Stockton easily...

John was also 10x dirtier than Nash. The biggest edge is defense...point guards dreaded going to work against this guy. Had the heart of a champion but played in an era with great Legends..

                    this is a stupid debate
if we are talking stats, stockton outstats nash
nash ended his season with a double double only 5 time, stockton did it 10 times !!
its safe to say nash has had more offensive talent than stockton ever had

offensive talent can be game planned against...defensive talent can not....

defense wins playoff games..plain and simple.

stockon because everyone out there always make a comparison to him as a point guard. William and Chris paul. Its just how amazing how he play. one hand pass. back hand pass, no look pass. Also stockton hold 3 record, not just two. Most game played in a season,

Stockton, and it's not even close. Nash (as a PG, not a shooter) is incredibly overrated. The Phoenix offense artificially inflates his stats and allows him to have the ball in his hands much more than most over PGs. He also baffles me with the number of absolutely poor passes he throws that lead to turnovers. For a guy that can throw a beautiful one handed drop pass with either hand I don't understand why he would ever throw an easy pass like a post entry away, yet he does it all the time.

id say pretty much a push maybe a slight edge for stockton since he was better for more season. But lets be honest there passing is the same, court awarness ect, nash is a little better shooter and stockton was better defensively. Stockton also didnt play in such a offensive friendly offense
