Celts will get all the calls the magic are getting next game. the NBA will not be doing this to the Celts in their final year as a premier team. Game 6. Celtics 101 Magic 85

And now a weak Tech on Rondo...
I'm starting to think that this is pre-emptive such that the Celtics will have a few bonus calls coming their way in Game 6. There's no reason at all for the terrible officiating that's happening today when Orlando is winning on their own merits...

I agree Magic is playing well today this is completely unnecessary. I knew refs could impact a game but I never really imagined this.

This is how they get away with it too... make big momentum changing calls for one side, then make some cheapos for the other side. But if they ever get back in reach, break out some big calls again.

Who cares if the fix is in, you should never have been on Celtics in this game anyways.

I didn't. I'm on the Magic -3.5.
You can't possibly agree with the referee's calls in this game... There have been some HUGE BS calls today

You shouldn't know referees' names, especially for constantly making terrible calls and questionable T's on guys.

I think calling a fix here is just wrong. Yes there were bad calls, like almost every game in every sport, but the Magic demolished the Celtics fair and square. On to the next game ...

ummm no. a 7 pt magic lead near the half should have been a tie game. in boston next game it is a celtic 7 pt lead that we will see..........stern needed a solid 6 game series here after so many sweeps. celts 101-85 next game

Yeah really ignorant statement. We aren't arguing that the magic outplayed the celts (even though the celtics were missing their starting C after 18 minutes of the game, their backup big man as well), we just are arguing that these TERRIBLE bullshit calls were what helped the magic demolish the Celts. Bad calls like this only happen in the NBA.

First of all the lead at the half should have been 20, but that's on the Magic and not the refs ... and to say the Magic destroyed the celtics because of a fix is pure BS.

The funny thing is what is ignorant is your comment on my "statement. But someone that starts a comment with that line doesn't worth my comment.

I bet the Magic and am loving the free win. But it is disgraceful that the referees could be this one-sided. Even though I am on the right side of the fix, its still somewhat offensive how blatant it is.
Well before the Perkins and Rondo technicals the referees were blatantly biased. Throw those calls into the mix and its embarrassing. Honestly I think the NBA owes the Celtics an apology and they need to rescind one if not both of Perkins technicals.

This post is wrong. Yes the Magic played very well and perhaps would have won by 20 either way, but that has nothing to do with this thread. The thread is discussing how blatantly terrible the referees were in this game.
Perhaps the Magic would have won the game by 20 with good refs, but we will never know. The only thing we can say for certain is that this game was fixed/biased in favor of Orlando. I won money on the game, I am happy, but I have to be honest and admit that it was the worst officiated game I have ever seen. I mean it, the NBA should make a public apology and not allow those refs to partake in another game this year.

The worst you have ever seen? did you see the Lakers game of 2006?
To be honest I am sick and tired of the "FIX" every other game. Yes there are mistakes, yes there are dirty things in sports, but I think you guys are taking it WAY too far.
And my post isn't WRONG, the important thing is the better team have won, and home teams get most of the calls in every sport in the world, not because it's fixed, because one of the things a home team has is that, with the home crowed and so on and so on ... is it right? no ... but the refs are human ...
I mean you guys truly believe Stern called the refs and told them "listen guys today Boston must lose".
I mean come on!

I don't think they can determine whether or not Boston wins or loses... if a team plays well enough they should be able to overcome any disparity from reffing. I just think that when you get deep into the playoffs, when the talent level is closer to even, that the reffing will have a greater impact. Regardless, there were a number of seriously lopsided and influential calls last night that have me questioning, I think even you would agree.
Not saying I fully believe it yet, but I'll be keeping my eyes on these games a bit more than I otherwise would have.
