While he can get the cavs to dominate the regular season, they tend to take a shit in the postseason. That is why he was fired,whether it was his fault or not. As to who they're hiring, it needs to be someone special to keep Lebron in Cleveland. Either a big name college coach like Coach K or Calipari, or an NBA coach with championship experience like Phil Jackson or playoff experience like Jeff Van Gundy.

I do realize they have not been as successful as they had wished but there is only so much a coach can do

it is so amazing to me that cleveland finally found a winning coach who won more games in the last two years than any other,they decided to fire him.either cleveland cavs have the dombest personnel in basketball or they have something lined up that we dont know about.and im guessing its the first one.if they thought the fac that washed up shaq would be the answer to there problems,they are really stupid.

Mike Brown has proven time and again that he struggles to coach the offensive end of the floor. More importantly, he lost the faith of his players throughout the playoffs which renders him essentially useless. Parting ways with him was the only choice they had. The Cavs will now try to make a huge offer to Coach K or Phil Jackson.

i don't think the offensive issues are all mike brown's fault because if you ever watch a cavs game it is very typical in the 4th quarter for lebron's teammates to be standing around waiting for lebron to do something. THAT IS NOT AN OFFENSE. If lebron is this matured superstar that everyone acclaims too then the responsibility also comes down on him to tell his teammates to move around or to speak up to mike brown. i personally think lebron had to much power when he came into the league and think that mike brown has almost been like lebron's puppet, and that is the reason lebron speaks so highly of him. He does whatever he wants. It will be interesting to see if he comes back next year

This guy is not a good coach... He had the tools there to build several championships, and all that team has to show for it is one Finals appearance where they were swept. He had plenty of time... more time than most coaches get now.

He's not going at making adjustments on the fly and exploiting individual match ups. Which are prbly the 2 biggest things in playoff coaching, if it doesn't work you're criticized for "panicking" and changing the script from your regular season rotation but a real leader doesn't worry about criticism.
