well the magic sure stepped up tonight. hell of a game but in the end orlando 3's added up and it was too much for the boys to overcome. the foul on davis which the announcers said should not have been a foul was the one point that pushed it into OT. That call was not intentionally bad, it was just a bad call.
Biggest reason - Rondo left first half early with spasms in his legs. He's had this before and they are only temporary.. they go away after just one day of rest.
Clearly in the second half Rondo was not anywhere near 100% and couldn't defend Nelson or be dominant offensively.
Celtics postgame confirming the leg spasms.
Pierce did his part with I believe 32 points but did also miss some critical 3's i think he was 0-6 on 3's. Tough game and a sweep for Conference Finals is very difficult for anyone to accomplish. Celtics executions were sloppy. Balls weren't dropping, game control wasn't there especially in the first half. There were a few positives.. Big Baby for one and Ray Allen's clutch shots.
Congrats to Orlando on the Overtime win, now they won't get their balls busted from the critics as much when they lose this series.
Chit happens.
