No doubt, if you like the Suns now is the time to buy. Although, the ML at -110 is more sensible.

For me, it's a small play on the PHX 1Q, possibly followed by a substantial LAL ML play live if the Suns win the 1Q.

I've seen this a lot today -- aren't the Lakers one of the best, if not the best, 1Q teams in the NBA? Wouldn't Phoenix 1H be the safer play?

Either that, or it's one of the bigger traps of the year.

So far in the playoffs, the more you've overanalyzed the lines, the more you've had your head chopped off. Face value has been cashing like crazy.

Something tells me Kobe will be in facilitator mode early tonight, the early key for the Lakers is play defense and efficient offense.

                This season (SU):

                LAL 1Q (road): 23-14-4 (+1.8pt)
                LAL 1H (road): 19-21-1 (+0.2pt)
                PHX 1Q (home): 28-11-2 (+3.4pt)
                PHX 1H (home): 27-13-1 (+5.0pt)

The 1H gap is larger, yes. However I feel like the Suns fast start may not last 24 minutes... It may not even last 12. The Lakers are a different animal.

The Lakers have so many weapons and options, it just worries me that someone will go off in the 1Q and lock up that win for them. I do think, though, that if you're going to take PHO 1H, you have to at least feel somewhat confident about PHO 1Q and vice versa.

I agree with the first part of this statement. Even Suns backers should admit to themselves that if Kobe decides to impose his will on a team, on the road or at home, the Suns aren't the team to stop them. It's only a matter of when, and the odds go up the longer you wait.
