just want to chime in on the celtics!
You may not think so but I feel that the celtics aren't getting enough props. They beat cleveland pretty handily and all i hear is king james couldnt do it and this and that. Well guess what the celtics have a mad defense and great shooting guards. Give this team some credit. The magic are folding howard is overrated. Perhaps he is but guess what the celtics put some heavy defense on him with perkins and shut down a great star that dominated the skinny centers all season but not now! The magic are just overmatched. Rondo is a beast and is quickest guy on the court faster than moe williams and nelson. add in paul pierce who has been hitting clutch shots and the mid range jumpers and this team can beat anyone. It's always that infamous question did the team who won the game win or did the team that lost lose the game. Well in the cleveland series the celtics were the better team. There was nothing lebron and company could of did about it. And for the magic series so far the celtics are the better team and its not howard is weak or he can't play no more. It's that the celtics are putting heavy pressure on him and staying posised. The magic did miss alot of 3s but even then the celtics were up on them for the most part. The magic did miss alot of shoots but thats part of basketball and if they couldnt go down low to howard or find some pick and rolls dont say the magic are falling apart say the celtics are clogging the lanes and all over howard! Throw in some kevin garnett for some great defense and key rebounds and noone is beating this team. The magic are a great team and so is cleveland but they aren't folding its that the celtics are on fire!!!! congrats celtics!!!!!

The major reason that the Celtics worked the Magic over in Orlando was their treatment of Howard. Most of the Magic's offense is based on a strategy of feeding Howard in the post and forcing the opponent to double team him, leaving an open man to pass to (and making the extra pass when needed) so the shooter gets a good look from the perimeter. Boston has instead trusted in Perkins to defend him one on one, and the Magic shooters aren't getting the uncontested shots that they're used to having.

If the Magic are going to win a game, they need to adjust their approach. Carter and Lewis need to be more aggressive from the start, driving and finishing at the rim. Playing Gortat and Howard together was also effective in limited minutes in Games 1 & 2 as it put a lot of pressure on Boston to defend the low post and opened up the floor for the outside shooters.

I feel like Orlando is capable of making the necessary adjustments, but it's questionable if they will...
