I have it capped below both again -- 183, with a 94-89 Magic victory -- but should we be reading anything into this total increase (yet)?

Explain this capping process to me. How did you come up with that score cause my score is much different?

I take a lot of different things into consideration -- past trends, recent history between the teams, Game 1 stats, lineup matchups ... then I try to gauge motivation (granted almost impossible to bottle intangibles) for both sides in this particular spot. Not sure why you'd even ask though, LB, given how often I come up with an under number that's failed miserably in this playoff season.

Your score is much different how? Bigger or smaller total, or the winner?

Considering it took 4.5 hours for the line to move up the first half a point, it doesn't seem like it's the result of strong, sharp action. It also corresponds to a lot of early action on the Celtics. I'd say people are thinking it's going to be a close game.

I feel like this one is going OVER. Boston will be very motivated and continue to play pretty good ball and great D...at least 2 of the big 4 will do work and the others will chip in. For Orlando this is close to a "must win" and they will be very motivated to correct mistakes and start to adjust to Boston's defense. ORL had that horrid half due to the layoff + actually facing real defense and this was their first adversity of the Playoffs AKA Cleveland vs Orlando gm 1 last year.

CLE last year won gm 2 but BARELY. So I think Orlando slips by with a win by 5 or less points and the game total goes OVER.

I will be on Boston points and the OVER
