    3 point contest
    Tyrese Haliburton, Indiana Pacers
    Tyler Herro, Miami Heat
    Buddy Hield, Indiana Pacers
    Kevin Huerter, Sacramento Kings
    Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers
    Lauri Markkanen, Utah Jazz
    Julius Randle, New York Knicks
    Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics

    dunk contest

    Kenyon Martin Jr., Houston Rockets
    Mac McClung, Philadelphia 76ers
Trey Murphy III, New Orleans Pelicans
    Jericho Sims, New York Knicks

obviously we're far away from the day when michael jordan or dominique wilkins would dunk the ball. now we got nobodies trying to make a name

sounds good. go team joakim. they should have 3v3, like ice cube's big3 with old veterans. i used to play 3v3 back in the day on half court blacktops. that was hella fun

    3v3 is an abomination!

Interesting little tournament there. Stunning how ineffective Mobley was in those two games. He's like a young Pau Gasol; can look great in the right matchup but then there's other matchups...

Almost won it with team joakim.

i loved 3v3 back in the day, always action/you're always involved, no bringing the ball upcourt. but hey everyone has their preferences

One of those moments where you know you saw something special. You can be sure these black guys will be coming for him next year, gladly.

6'2" white guy destroyed the dunk contest. Last time I saw a guy that special in the dunk contest was Dominique

i had nothing on it. that was something else

oh yeah. jason williams. rex chapman another one.

this all star game setup is garbage. so these 2 captains lebron who isn't one of the 2 best in the nba, and giannis who might not play, are picking players like it's a pickup game, an hour before the game starts? come on man. ridiculous format. what is the point of that

Yeah, just saw it. Big fuss over a little behind the head dunk. Shame he gets recognized for that when he's actually a talented player. Very flashy playmaker and a showman to boot. I think he'll make it in the NBA some day... not a mere 2-way but a 2nd unit pg.

He's too short for today's nba. 6 2 is irving size

Dunks used to be important now it's 3 point shots

My pick for all star game is team yannis.

TJ.McConnell is 6'1 and one of the better backup pg in the league. He doesn't even shoot the three!

yeah not bad. can play spot duty

what are you going to do with 6'8" tatum brings the ball up court, shoots the 3 and drives vs a guy just over 6'

the days of an allen iverson or kyrie irving being picked #1 are over

speaking of tatum...what a player. tonite he just said i'm the best in the nba. introduced his brand new shoes. and defended his own player brown.

team yannis wins. tatum the mvp x5.

i thought the first quarter was a joke, around the 3q these guys started to play. what a gift tatum mitchell and lillard have for basketball

aaand the worst player on the floor goes to...JOKER!! -16 on the floor 4 points in 20 minutes. loll

his missing the pass thrown to him, starting at the crowd going to the corner, and having no idea that a basketball game was going on was something else!

what's amazing is this guy probably gets league mvp

Eh? What's amazing is that you apparently think performance in an AS game has an impact on MVP voting. Anyone with two eyes can see he's the clear choice for MVP. b2b2b!

Yeah i agree with you. Great player would be a legit regular season mvp.

Can joker pick it up in the postseason? Or will denver fold again

interesting you can fade a player as much as believe in one.

that's 4 games in a row i put up no $ but faded kyrie. got 'em all. i guessed lebron would choose kyrie, and if you saw the earnie johnson interviews with yannis he kept hammering him on how he keeps losing in the all star games, and telling lebron how great he is. thank you earnie

kyrie is the best basketball player of all time. well...no. he's a jerk, i didn't win my nets futures lol

so i'm done with this until maybe the nba playoffs. all star game is my cutoff point, one week after the super bowl. good luck fellas until then, def fun chatting w/ya ibetyou

one thing that did bother me was i knew yannis was going to choose holiday. holiday is not an all star player, the guy was chucking up 3s looking not interested

the indication though that yannis was serious was he picked up lillard as the first pick. the home guy looking to impress

lucky yannis picked up tatum, not sure if he knew jayson had his new jordan shoe line come out and was looking to impress

got lucky joker came over to lebron had him pick him instead of markkenen

    kyrie played well

got lucky lebron got injured before 2nd h. a lot of this is just plain luck

Likewise bud. I will stop posting too. Chatting on a forum is a poor substitute for actual betting prep!

Anteto' only played 20secs of the AS game, and he made shitty picks as usual -is he picking guys that will compliment him rather than star in their own right? I don't know. They were the hungrier team, and quite often that's the decisive factor in exhibitions. James and his picks disinterested.

As for Irving... Mavs fit the profile of a streaky team imo. Him & Doncic will go on another scoring rampage and they'll have another good streak, but another bad streak or two as well.
