This line opened at 5.5 and I won't be suprised to see it go a little lower. Memphis has been inconsistant lately, blowing a big lead in Utah two games ago and then losing in overtime then they catch a Laker team tired physically and emotionally from their big Christmas east coast trip. Now they face a Portland team that is red hot and has figured out that in the NBA ya gotta run sometimes to score points. Not saying Portland will win straight up but this should be a close game and the 5 points will come in handy.

after the help i got from raiders and buddybear the other night on "smart money" it seems that Portland may be the smart play. 70 percent of the public is on memphis but the line moved from -5.5 to -5. I like this play a lot too
