Lakers +1.5 LOCKED HEAVY

Mind games for sure. Lakers is the play. They won game 1 and game 2 and should have won game 3. Kobe threw game 4 on purpose to spite Jackson/Artest for calling him selfish. I don't care what anyone says I know for a fact Kobe through that game. He NEVER goes 15 minutes to start a game without a shot especially when his team is down double digits and I watched that game and he passed up on TONS of shots in that 1st quarter.

The Lakers have now figured out OKC. They got Kobe on Westbrook now and Artest knows Durants ever move. Gasol and Bynum dominated last game and that will definitely continue. If Lamar Odom plays well this game 6 could very well be a blowout. I personally think it goes down to the last two minutes and the defending champs show why they are the defending champs. The Thunder will choke late as this is their first close out game. OKC is suppose to win since they are at home and that pressure will bee too much for them to handle in a game 6 with their season on the line. Look for Harden, Ibaka, and Green to all play below their standards.

Home court advantage is going to be OKC's only hope and that won't be enough against the Lakeshow. I think of game 6 last year where Denver had the sickest home court advantage I had seen in a while. Lakers went there game 6 and ended it.

Lakers opened up at +2 and dropped to +1.5 and now +1 everywhere. I won't be surprised to see them at -2 come game time.

All three refs favor the Lakers in this game. Ken Mauer is the fifth best ref in the NBA for road teams with a 38-28 ATS for road teams. Bill Kennedy is 40-35 for road teams ATS and is the 20th best ref for roadies. Greg Willard is the 19th best ref for road teams and he is the 19th best ref for road teams ATS. So we have three refs in the top 20 that favor road teams with one of them being in the top 5.

Lakers line went from +2 to PK now on some sites, hopefully that is a good sign for me as it seems like they are trying to get people off LAL and on OKC.

so what is your thinking SJ? I wanted to take more this morning at a +1.5 but had work meeting and came back and saw that it was at PK, so didn't get more on it. Do you think this ends up being LAL -2. I want to jump on it now if that seems likely, but if you or anyone has good reason to think that it goes back to LAL + then I will wait. Just wondering what others thoughts are.

Also, I have some on Jazz at -4.5 and that one is now at -6, I am thinking of putting more on that too. Jazz are so tough at home and should be able to blow out Den but I alwasy worry about refs and letting up at the end, but my thoughts are that once Denver gets so far behind they will pack it up and Jazz win by DD. Any thoughts?

Probably because at +105, the ML doesn't have that much value. And +1.5 accounts for a miracle buzzer beater

Take the Lakers immediately. This line will not move in LA's favor. As for the Jazz, stick with your original bet at -4.5, no need to take a line now at -6 if you already have a great value line at -4.5

The Lakers line has now gone from +2 and is at -1 on bodog. Just as I expected a 3 point line jump and I think it ends up at LAL -1.5

And don't forget guys that the public was pounding the Lakers @ OKC in game 3 and the line for the Lakers actually moved in their favor. Vegas is treating this line differently obviously and I think that is very telling.

I feel pretty good about it. I predicted they would be favorite by close and now one site is popping them up as a favorite. I obviously didn't want to see OKC go to -3.5 anywhere. I think most sites will start shifting soon as the west coast is now awake and there is probably a lot of bets coming in right now. Mostly squares to since they usually always wait on lines and will definitely love the Lakers.
