Trends above are yet another reason I like Denver to cover and maybe a small play ml.

Portland has played several games in the last few days. They're guys should be rested anyway, and they're 15-3 on B2B games. They have what it takes to win on the road.

However, the key matchups in my opnion will be Chauncy vs. Andre Miller and Roy vs. Affallo. I think we can all agree that whether your going to put Batum, Roy, or Webster on Mello, it's a great mismach in Mello's favor.

Affallo will really make Roy work for his shots, I think he should be all 2nd or 3rd defensive team this year. Andre Miller thrives on using his strength and getting in the post again opposing PGs. No chance for that here.

Yeah, I would say the exact opposite. Don't see many backing Portland here.

I think Denver wins the game, but Portland covers the line.
I also like the over 199

Should be a good game to watch either way.

I'm on Denver but not because they're "due".

Since 2007, no Portland/Denver game in Denver has been decided by less than 5 points. That trend should continue tonight. There're only 2 picks here:

                            Portland ML
                            Denver -5

                            I'm on Denver -5.

Denver has been playing horrible lately what makes everyone think this will change? First game back at home + hot Portland trying to get the ball rolling for playoffs + a 5 pt spread = trouble. It's like what Greek said, your supposed to ride streaks not bet against them. Good luck tonight guys

I don't like going against a team just coming back after a road trip covering time zones, especially if they have to go out on the road the next day. This doesn't fit the full bill of that, but it's a partial so I won't lay on Den.

A great reason to jump on Portland. But when you have only 2 games on board, going against trends is the right thing to do:

                                    Denver -5
