Thursday sure is crazy. I only had Miami but I feel for those who backed the Nuggets last night. Really shady ending tonight. Anyway, let's start talking about Friday. BTW, all the teams in Bold are my play. I've been receiving messages in my inbox so that's just to clear it up. Also, I always wanted to hear your opinions on games guys.
I don't know why but Toronto ML caught my attention with the 7:00pm games. They have nothing going on for them going to this game and has only gotten 4 wins since the AllStar break and they were against a depleted Wizards team, the Nets and the Bricks. I like however the drive they have going to this game. Oh, and a lucky win over Atlanta the other night. Oklahoma on the other hand is just the opposite of the Raptors. They've only lost 4 times after the break to good home teams (they lost one at home against the then streaking Suns). Thing here is that we're looking at a Raptors team who is very capable at home and is currently fighting to hold on to that 8th and final play off spot (wins could get them as fat as the 6th spot at the moment).
You see, this is why betting on the NBA is great to wager on the NBA at the moment. Teams actually have real reasons to play hard. Well I'm not saying that the Thunders doesn't have anything to play for, they are playing the best season of their franchise and they can still get up the standings with their remaining games.
Knicks will be playing the first game back after a long road trip. You guys have seen this scenario before and the first game usually ends up with the home team playing terrible. I'm not saying I'm playing the Philadelphia +4 they are just a bunch of guys who is just waiting to end the season and hopefully start a new. No play here but I'm seriously leaning the 76ers. What's funny is everytime I lean or play them, they lose. Also, the matchup this season always goes to the road team so the ML has a pretty good value here.
Is betting on Boston against the Rockets a square play? Well, I do like the Green Team -1.5 but they may look ahead to the red hot Mavericks the next day. They are also a terrible 14-22-2 after a day of rest. Houston on the other hand has been beating teams left and right and they aren't just any teams, some are currently contending for playoff spots. I'll probably give this a rest and look for better reason to back this team up. UNDER 203 looks like a good bet IMO.
I'm still on a Fade-Washington Mode and that's probably all the reason why I like Portland Trailblazers -12.5. Then again, this is the season where we are seeing double digit dogs come up with an upset. Also, a possible look ahead to Phoenix.
Gotta watch the line movement in Sacramento. Right now, I'm on to Milwaukee Bucks -3 for the reason that they have been on fire right after the Allstar break. I was on the Bucks against the Clippers the other day and I do agree it was one bad bet. Bucks showed great vulnerability against the Pacers the game before and as usual carried over the next game. The rest should benefit this team.
On to the last game of the night. Minnesota should be more than a 15.5 point road dog and playing the last game of a 4 game trip. Everyone should be looking to going home and resting in this game. Lakeshow got it easy getting Washington the next game before a short road trip. My play here is the Minnesota Timberwolves +15.5. It's just too much for a Lazy Lakers squad. Here's the scenario that I'm seeing. Lakers go up and dominate the Wolves in the 2nd half (I won't be surprised if the Wolves play it close in the 1st half) and send their bench to do clean up allowing the wolves to pull a backdoor cover.
