    Nets +6.5 over 76ers

77% of the public had to play the 76ers before even one book added a half point to this line. That makes perfect sense because the public is once again at least 60 days behind reality. My ratings had the Nets and 76ers dead even 10 weeks ago and since then the two teams have gone in opposite directions. The 76ers have one outright win in their last ten games and that was over the equally pathetic Raptors, who I told you a few days ago rank dead last in my probability ratings. The 76ers do not hold an edge over the Nets in either my prior ten and fifteen game rankings either. It's pathetic. Our old friend Mr. Sagarin would make the 76ers -8.89 tonight but there is a damn good reason the line is not that high. A team that is 3-12 SU and 5-10 ATS their last 15 games (all covers as dog, never as favorite) has no business being a favorite at all, over anybody, anywhere, any time. Pickem would be generous. Take the points.

There are two key points to address. The basic handicap called for a power rating advantage of 3.84 points for the Nets. No player is worth an 11 point line swing, not one. The other point is that regardless of who is in and who is out, the 76ers are not qualified to be a favorite over anyone right now. They have not covered as a favorite since February 9 versus Minnesota, -5.5, and have not covered -7 all season. Do you really think this game is all about Devin Harris and nothing else?

I thinl the best line for NJ is first half, they are not a second have team bc they dont have talented players esp with devin out of the line up... its hard to say full game, if nets play like shittt they will lose big, if phili plays like shit game will be close, but end result i think phili win but NJ covers
