    ANOTHER trap today?
While everyone seems to be talking about the Denver line being a possible trap I see another suspicious line. According to scoresandodds.com over 90% of the public is on New Orleans tonight, both the moneyline and the side, yet the NO line moved from +1 to +3. Can someone explain this to me?

Ps: if I'm wrong on the percentage (again) can someone please post a better betting trends site?

Look up "bet tracker" in google and take the first link, called two minute warning. Great site that shows Sports Insights data, which has info coming from several books for their percentages. Others only use one or two, so sometimes they match up, and sometimes they are way off. Looks like a 70-30 split for NO right now.

71% on the Nornets and the line has went from Clippers -1 to Clippers -2.5, which would usually mean good things, in this case I don't know.

It means that someone really likes the Clippers tonight. No guarantee they're right. I capped the Clips to be -3.5 faves, but don't have that much faith in either team when they're not getting a lot of points...

Correct, but these types of movements tend to be right more than wrong.

if people really want to bet on this game just take the clippers cause the hornets are lost right now. dont tell me the clips are lost cause they are always lost.

Yeah this is one is a head scratcher. Clippers are 0-10 S/U and ATS vs. New Orleans (dating back to 11/2007)

This matchup has gone over 8 out of last 10 with lines set between 186-200..Tonight it is set at 205, the highest it has been set between these two teams in last 10.

In the 3 matchups this season between these two teams they are averaging 203 pts a game.

Clippers and Hornets are both 0-5 S/U in last 5 games

Only deciding factor that would sway to play a side on this game is *Clippers are 13-5 ATS at home in last 18 and 4-2 S/U last 6 at home

I would not bet against this movement and would not be willing to pay -140 for the ML on the Clippers so this is either a NO BET or a Clippers -2.5 bet based on the movement.

No time like the present to tear down such a trend and bum **** all the NOH backers.

                          Clippers -2.5

The Hornets have covered the last 10 spreads vs LAC. The line comes out today at LAC -1 and with a majority on the Hornets and that crazy trend there is serious Reverse Line Movement to Clippers -2.5. The Clippers have had a very tough schedule as of late and have struggled mightily. They are 1-9 their last ten games but they were underdog in all of them so that was semi-expected. They are favored today at home where they are 18-14, the Hornets have struggled all year on the road going 11-23. Clippers get it done today.

                            LAC -2.5 or pass, IMHO.
