Dexter, I have only noticed 1 or 2 people who have really been doing it and I have already sent them a warning PM. At the end of the day, I cant really re-inforce it but the only people they really cheating is themselves.
I have been guilty myself editing the plays but not due to lines, only due to my time zone as I live in Australia and I can never get the odds in time before I wake up. So i put the first available play I see that they have released as I dont want to take the chance of sleeping in for the games and not being able to list my play.
Thus, normally I allow 1 edit as long as its not on the same play unless it was an error. As long as its before game time I allow the changes.
cool - yeah, ive seen people edit their posts on the same play for a better line which is a joke. this is all about speculating as to what the closing number will be and doing things like that doesnt really display much skill or something that is actually possible in the real world.
i personally dont even think changing plays should be allowed, as again thats an advantage that most people dont have with their books. once a play is booked, you usually have to pay the vig (by buying back the other side) if you wanted to cancel.
one of my locals does allow me to cancel if the line hasnt moved and if the play was just booked in the last 15-20 min. but ive only done that a handful of times this year.
good job with this - hopefully you run the baseball.
