Most of the board was on Charlotte the other night and we won. Also Memphis was a pretty big hit that same night.

I love the feeling I get from having my future livlihood hanging in the balance in the hopes and preminisions I have about a group of buffons that if it wasn't for the game would be working at Mcdonalds or Walmart. The dopamine that I have when tip off gets here will be at a level that is unmatched.

This board alone will probably lose upwards of 50K on this game if the LA buffons decide not to show up.One gurantee I will give everybody here.. Phoenix will show up and play hard as they know how to play.... Which won't mean much if LA's comes to play also, but will mean everything if LA chooses to lay an egg.

All that being said... If both teams bring there 'A' game tonite LA backers will win. Also, on the other side if LA gets into PHO game they will lose.

If you like LA take the under becasue if this goes over LA backers are having problems I suppose.

it just seems too easy to me. the only thing that worries me. the public is always all over the lakers, so thats not a concern. i just don't get why they would make the line -1 if they didn't want the public to pound the shit out of it...

I may not be making sense here, but here goes.

Public bets don't lose on every occassion. If that was the case there would eventually be no PUBLIC.

Whilst the books may lose this game there are 11 other games tonight that the books have there eyes on ????.

Surely its the same as horse racing. The favourites ( Public bets ) don't lose all the time. They just win enough to keep the money cycle turning around and keeping everybody interested.If the favourites won every race, then the books would disappear, and ****-versa.

true. but why wouldn't they set the line at say, 3 or 4? wouldn't you think the action would be more even if the line was more? im just trying to play devils advocate here

they cant make it 3 or 4 thats too much. they were only 3.5 at charlotte. the suns have a good home record and in reality should be favored by 2. the suns are rested and have been playing well and the lakers are struggling yet the books hand out lakers -1 to start

Anycase I think the line should be a little bit more in Lakers favour, but the way they have been playing and Phoenix being HOT at home, the line is set accordingly and I think the oddsmen have made the correct adjustments.

In anycase, I think Lakers win by 7.
