I'm feeling Toronto and the points. Anyone with me? against me?
Let me preface this by saying that I believe NJ will win tonight, but since it's an elimination game, I believe Toronto will give max effort.
Hence, I like the 7.5 pts and the Raptors.

totally against you, I would not do it. In fact I am betting for the Nets to cover. The Raptors were shooting lights out and still almost gave up a 20 point lead. Be careful.

I might starting fading you gridiron, as you gave two boastful threads in a row saying your Lakers would get beat down (they wound up covering), and that you had a "strong feeling" Dallas would win game six (they got blown out). I think the line is probably about right and hope you win, but if you don't I'm going to start blindly fading you and your "feelings".....

I like the over 92 1st half... As for sides, I'm leaning towards NJ, just because home team is 8-2-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings. This should actually be 9-1-1 ATS but Toronto blew a big lead at home in their last meeting.

Elimination game and max effort mean nothing... Just look at Miami and Dallas, they looked like shit and so will Toronto.

Big, I don't think my threads were boastful, just sharing feelings I had on a few games. I was 3-2 betting sides on the Laker-Suns series, and 4-2 betting sides on the GS-Dallas series. I've just missed my last two picks, that's all.
Fade me if you like, but I'm a little more adept at this sports-wagering thing then you might believe, and that my last two picks would reflect.
GL.

Perhaps I just read you wrong gridiron, but for some reason those last two blowout losses you took stuck out as you appeared more confidant than usual (plus from your wording I assumed you were betting just on hunches alone, almost like a coin toss).
GL tonight gridiron, hope you get it back on track here in a couple of hours....

BigBollocks, I can see how it might have come off that way, but I honestly had no reason to believe that the Lakers would come out with anything in Game 5, and every reason to believe that Phx would finish them off. The Suns played very uninspired for the most part, and still won by 9. I missed my 'push' by 1 pt. Any inspiration and the Suns would've covered with ease.
I completely missed last night's game. I had a large wager on Utah -4.5 and I needed a little action on the Dallas game. Emphasis on the words "a little action". At halftime, it was clear to me that Dallas was basically done, so I went with GS +4 at the half. I was out and did not have my laptop so I couldn't post it. I got my $$$ back and a little more on GS +4 2nd half.
Re: tonight's Toronto pick, I truly feel that they will play their asses off tonight. Catching 7.5 pts looked good, catching 8.5 looks great.
GL bud.

Great call tonight GridironGuy, you hit the nail right on the head. Toronto really wants it tonight, and may well win outright. Their bench is up on every play, and they're simply outhustling the Nets.

Thanks bud. Raptors are certainly giving a great effort, but so much time left to go with a full half. Let's see if they can sustain for the next 24 mins. My worst fear is they might be down by 4 or 5 with a few mins to go and get into the fouling thing. Would be a crappy way to lose.
We Toronto backers need a big Raptor lead or a 2 pt deficit at most in the final minute to get this one. They know what to do: win or go home... so hopefully they'll fight to the final buzzer.

Damn you called that right to the tee gridiron (a Raptors cover but Nets outright win that goes down to the buzzer). Enjoy your well-capped cash mate....

Cleveland v. New Jersey = unwatchable basketball. It's a disgrace that one of these sorry teams will make the Eastern Conf. Finals.
