Need Advice

I know you wanted some advice after a rough night last night and I am just going to have to say I don't like any of those picks. I have had a sweet playoff run to with only 1 losing day so far either way though I have the exact opposite in each of those games and Miami is my favorite play if you are going to play any the one I was least sure of was my Golden State pick due to their emotional letdown in the 2nd half of the last game. So if I would bet any it would be Dallas of the ones you picked.

I think the Heat takes game 3. But hard to lay that number.

Not the boost of confidence I was looking for but thanks for the honesty.

I really like Dallas to pull away in this series, they dominated that 2nd half the other night. GS throws up garbage and wins when their hot, they play no defense so I gotta take the Mavs laying this small number

The Bulls were much better down the stretch on the road and I think D-Wade is too far away from being the real D-Wade to cover a 6 pt spread

The Nets are at home and the young Raptors will have a tough time in their 1st playoff road game together

Dallas got bailed out by the refs. I would say the first half was a better barometer of how tonights game will be played.

I had GS the other night getting 10.5 and I never felt comfortable with it even though they were winning for most of the 1st half. Dallas is much to consistent in my opinion and starting pulling away before GS starting acting like idiots.

The only game I bet was the Heat, and that was a small bet. While I expect Miami to win by double digits, the number is a bit more than I was hoping to lay. I think the other two lines are perfect. I would lean ever so slightly to Dallas and Toronto.

a suggestion if your having a rough go of it:

this probably only applies if your betting on line

instead of betting the full game line
try betting the halfs and the in progress lines
its usually best to take the better money prop
for instance
lets say the first quarter line

is nj -2 -130
tor +2 +110

take tor +2 +110

be more concerned with getting the better money line and not what the actual point number is

only bet the first quarter line and /or the halftime line at the beginning of the game (not the second third fourth quarter lines)
then bet the 2nd quarter line in progress as soon as the 1st 1/4 is over
bet the second half and 3rd quarter lines at half time
and the fourth 1/4 line at the end of the 3rd 1/4

you really have to watch the game intently and be at your computer to bet like this but it may help shake you outta your slump

watch out for the bulls tonight, yes i am from chicago. but people are under estimating these guys. They want it bad, and they are going to take it.

How do u figure that people are under estimating the Bulls man?? They have won the first 2 games and looked pretty dominant in doing so... They got out to a nice lead in tonights game, but have tailed off! I really don't think anyone is taking them lightly... The Heat sure as hell aren't! If the Bulls end up winning this series, they will give the Pistons all they can handle in the 2nd rd! By no means are the Bulls getting no respect though... They could and should be the 2 seed!

maybe cause i live in chicago, and im sick of everyone not giving any of our teams an F*cking credit the last 3 years. Everyone just blew the bears off, no one thinks the bulls can go all the way (which they definately can, i don't see them winning the finals by no means though). I guess you just gotta live here.. we have had our championships yes, but we want more (and the respect)

wasnt it proven in the end that everyone was correct in dismissing the bears?

Well yea I still can't figure out how Rex Grossman played in a Super Bowl. Either way though I am super impressed with the Bulls play so far. It is amazing how bad the favored teams have looked in playoffs so far this year. Dallas, Phoenix (YES only 7 quarters of good play in the 3 games), Miami, Toronto, and San Antonio. There are going to be some upsets in the first round and I am loving every minute of it.
