Minnesota is about to give away a 15 point lead in the 4th. The real problem is all NBA teams except about five are terrible on any given night.

#4well I am pumped, because I had Sonics in that game plus the points I wrote that game off and didn't even look at the score until I saw this post sweet stuff. Air Force is not looking good right now and that 3 pointer at the buzzer by WVU really hurt me.Comment -

#7I am from Minnesota, and had a parlay with them moneyline. The Timberwolves could not even get a shot off without turning the ball over in the fourth quarter. They are finished. Everyone was shocked. Bet a lot of money against them tommorrow night.Comment -

#8Careful, the Jazz are struggling too. They've hit a wall.
My contempt for MIN is well known. Still, beware of the team that has just hit rock bottom. You rarely get value going against them next time out.
For example. What team on tonight's card was coming off a 'rock bottom' game?

#17Well here are a few from the best Timberwolves blogger by far. (He's a good read any time and a must-read after any bad loss):
At this point, you really do just have to shake your head and laugh, don't you? Up 88-63 with 5:56 left in the third quarter, the Wolves caved and crumbled like never before in their history, scoring just 18 points in the final 18 minutes while allowing 51 to get buried 106-114 to a putrid Seattle squad without Ray Allen, a team that vanquished the Wolves by 3 on Friday and then lost to San Antonio by 41 on Sunday.
This is one diseased ballclub, folks. This is a team that just walloped the Sonics for 71 points in the first half, shooting 60 percent from the field and from the trey while racking up 21 assists on their 27 baskets versus just 5 turnovers. Midway through the third, the assist/turnover ration had swelled to 26/6 and the 19 point lead bumped to 25. After that? Three assists, 10 turnovers. Sclerotic defense at the other end. The worst aspects of panic and apathy, mixed together into a toxic combo of willful selfish ignorance about the right way to play the game of basketball.
MIN needs to finish in the bottom 10 or else the Clippers get their #1 pick this year. If this is a tank job by them, it's Oscar worthy. A lesser group would just go lose the game, and not bother with the whole blowing-the-double-digit-lead thing.Comment -

#19It pretty much speaks for itself.
(See especially Jaric, Hudson, James, Blount)
They also owe 1st round picks to LAC (for Jaric!) and BOS (the only way the Celts would part with Marcus Banks. Marcus Banks!!!). Thanks to the Ted Septien Rule, they cannot lose those picks in consecutive years.
FUBAR, TFBAR, whatever works for you.Comment -

#20I was surprised to see the final on this one. I had the Sonics and wrote this one off. I didn't think they make that kind of a comeback without Allen.
I do like the Timberwolves tonight + all those points.Comment -

#21Not sure how you could bet on that team plus any amount of points right now. They are pathetic! Not one ounce of pride. I only had them for a unit but I just couldn't believe what I was watching. Reminded me of that Houston/Buffalo debacle way back when...Comment
