Can you believe how bad of run the Minnesota Timberwolves are on right now. There just playing like shit lately ATS wise, and tonight's 8 point 2nd quarter by them inspired me to write this post.

Terrible. Dallas is good, but come on. No NBA team should score so little in any one quarter. The meltdowns in the 4th are getting out of hand by these teams too.

I gave up on NBA after last weekend.
Seems like Minnesota has sucked ass since they blew it against the Lakers that one year when Gollum and Spree were flying high with KG.

I wish I could take credit for it, but nope. They used to always bust Sam's balls on Inside the NBA during that time. If I had to guess, I'm sure the nickname came from the Chuckster.
I used to call him ET before, but Gollum is a better fit.

teams ive stayed away from all together since about the midway point of the season:
Yeah Minnesota is a team with major problems, totally schizo. You might remember, 3 weeks ago they almost beat the Mavs outright, in Dallas, on the second of a back-to-back! A team with bad character, but slim playoff hopes, is probably a team best avoided down the stretch, on or against.
However, their home over trend may well continue. They're 21-8 to the over at home this year, and they've got some home games coming up against teams that aren't shy about going over (Utah, Lakers, Indiana, et al). It will be interesting to see what the totals will be for those games.
