I think Memphis/GS opened at 231 just last week.

The game went to OT and landed on 233.

Wow. What's happened to Memphis' defense? It's been their strength the last few years. I haven't been following the NBA until recently and I know about Gasol's injury but his injury wouldn't explain Memphis going from being one of the best defensive teams in the league to one of the worst so quickly.

Their previous coaches, Hubie Brown and Mike Fratello liked to play a halfcourt game. Since Barone took over, he wants them to play up-tempo like Phoenix.

          That's really interesting, thanks.

It's a ton but the linesmakers know what they're doing. Do you know what happened the last time Denver played Memphis? Denver outscored Memphis 38-18 in the first quarter and coasted the rest of the way. If Memphis is more competitive and Iverson and Anthony have to keep pouring in the points the entire game (rather than just coasting), the game could go over easily, I wouldn't touch the over under in this game. However, I'm considering taking denver on the moneyline. This game should be like a layup line for Iverson and Anthony, I'm sure they're licking their chops. lol

229.5 is long gone now anyway. It's now 226.5-228 everywhere. With the public betting the under so heavily, I'm almost tempted to take the over.

I think I will just stick to college ball Monday.

The highest I think I saw was 233 the last time Memphis faced Denver (see a pattern?...LOL)

Suns vs Washington this year was 233.5, and it went over too I might add.

That was the night this year were the Suns were held up in Denver till about 3 hours before game time, and Gilbert scored like 50 points.

They used to have OU's over 240 back in the 80's. Check out some of the scores from that era and you'll understand.

                        You got that right Wheell.

Back in the 80's 240 was rather common really compared to todays standards. In that era you would see scores like 137-125 a lot of times.
