            Winner!

Prize is free NBA ratings for the rest of the year, which Bside has graciously agreed to share with all.

              Jay,

Just curious, do you use this methodoligy to analyze NBA Totals?

                LT -

                That's a negative.

I have no objective method for totals and don't play many of my own leans.

(Which isn't to deny that plenty of good methods for totals exist or could be created.)

As a related aisde, one thing I'd like to see done on totals is for someone to check how often that initial 1.5-2 point hit on the first overnight release of the total at CRIS or the Greek is on the winning side. How often does it win when there's eventual buyback, and how often where there's no appreciable buyback? With the SBR pointspread data records (presuming you can get around the silly childproof cap on them), this could be figured out.

with no access to pinnacle where could a US player attempt to get comparable moneylines?

At Matchbook, if you don't get better moneylines than Pinnacle, you're not trying hard enough.

Beyond that, you do have to take a hit of a couple basis points some of the time -- though less so on the dogs on average.

LV Hilton, Coast Casinos, MGM Group, or the Caesars Group. Most of the others wont have a money line on the big time dogs.

                      Oh. Your talking offshore.

Nice rebound day Jay. Didn't have time to cap many games for today. Played the card this morning based on your lines. Good day but then again you owe me NBA ratings for the rest of the year anyway
