The Lakers have been asked to cover some hefty lines lately, and that's the case again tonight. Play Charlotte plus the points at LA.
Charlotte enters this contest against the Los Angeles Lakers playing their best basketball of the season and winners of five of their last eight straight up and against the spread. The Bobcats have also been very competitive on the road, winning three of four straight up, and covering seven of their last 10.
The Lakers, their opponents, despite having won 6-straight at home have dropped the cash for their backers in three straight at the Staples Center. Asked to cover some hefty spreads, the Lakers are also a bankroll depleting 1-7 against the spread in their last eight trips to the hardwood.
With that said, look for another hefty number to be attached to backing the Lakers as hosts tonight, giving us value with a visiting Bobcats team that has covered 4-straight meetings in this series. Play on Charlotte plus the points.
