Some new energy has been infused in Miami as they become comfortable playing without The Big Man. Having Williams back at full strength running the point is making the offense flow more smoothly for the Heat.
On the other side of the ball, the Clippers have made it past a tough road stretch where they found it difficult to score and finally seem to have their legs back along with a healthy Sam Cassell. Brand admitted to having been tired early this season but had a monster game against a tough Magic defense.

I have that one too, grabbed it at 189.5. Hopefully the Clips won't adopt a "stop Dwayne Wade at all costs" clampdown on D strategy for this game, which will keep it low if they do.

Looks like we've got a winner here. The end-game FT bounce typical of a close matchup pushed it even beyond the Formula projection.

Another bonus with this contest was that it lined up perfectly with the Setup Code (HLH). The code projected the overall game would go high (H) with the first half coming in lower than the posted line (L) and the second half coming in higher (H). After 89 points were scored in the first half, Pinnacle posted the second half line as 94. If you did your homework, you knew the bulk of the points in this game would be scored in the second half and that was definitely the case as 109 came through. This made the 2nd half OVER easier to cash than the full game total.

The tempo of this game also pointed to the OVER. Miami pushed up 91 shots and it should be noted that this significantly deviates from the way Miami played their games to begin this season. Obviously the lines have yet to acknowledge this phenomenon.

In our next play, we'll be moving from the Soft Spot to Chinatown where we'll ask them to Hold the MSG.
