Bigger disappointment - 07/08 Patriots or 15/16 Warriors
Patriots were undefeated and lost in the final minute of the Super Bowl.

Warriors were 73-9 and blew a 3-1 series lead in the Finals with two of the final three at home.

I am going to say the Warriors because they only lost twice at home all season and then lost consecutive games at home in the Finals. Plus, they were the first team in NBA history to blow a 3-1 lead in the Finals.

The 73-9 doesn't mean as much now. 73-9 isn't bad but 72-10 has a better "ring" to it.

None of the teams with the best record in their sport's history has won a championship in all 4 major North American sports. Crazy.

What were the odds when the Warriors were up 3-1?

I forgot New England was -14. That's absurd. The Giants played them tough in the regular season that year.

The Warriors are a bigger disappoint. The Pats didn't have a best of seven series. The Pats had one game for all the marbles and sometimes in a one games series the better team doesn't always win The Warriors were up 3 to 1. They had 3 chances to seal the deal with 2 games being at home.

That was my angle. Up 3-1 at home and you have only lost twice at home all year.....still can't get it done.

THIS. Giants were blessed that game. Any of 5 or 6 second half coin flip type plays go Pats way, they win.

People forget Asante Samuel dropped an int right in his hands with no one around.
                      He catches that, game over.

                        lol.. so cruel

not to mention that under Kerr, they had NEVER lost three games in a row.
sure picked a great time to do it!!

hard to fight off those focused Cavs though

i hated the Pats and i hated the Curry and the Warriors (mostly because i knew Cavs beat them with 100% starters last year)
they were riding a high that was due to injury and not to actual greatness.

when Curry started turning away while balls were still ascending.. i know he would self-destruct.
Really so arrogant and unprofessional to do that.

                        Glad it all worked out
