    Nash and Nowitzki
Their teams are 1-6. New ball or short hair?

I dont think it has to do with the new ball at all. It is just their mental game. I expect their teams to turn it around eventually.

Suns are hurt by new ball, because long rebounds from 3 pt shots are way down.

Still trying to determine if high scoring teams are affected.

I love that theory, DH, on principle alone. You watch their games -- is it actually true?

The ball doesn't bounce off the rim in the same way. I've seen a number of shots hit the front of the rim, and 'die' right there for a basket instead of a usual bounce.

It's early, but I did just go look at the Suns offensive rebounding number so far this year and -- oh my God.

            .138

Last three years were .265 .274 and .221.

              Wow. That's the ball game.

That is a very interesting stat. No way they can compete with that poor of reboundin.

I think it's more a less just a slow start out of the game.

Last year the Suns started out the same way, and still got it togather and went deep into the playoffs. As far as Dallas goes, it's just hard to say what it might be.

Short hair. They are off balanced, and will get into the swing of things in a month. When they start getting shaggy again. Dirk needs his Billy Goat look back.

1-8 now for Nash & Nowistzki. Will be 2-9 tomorrow.

DAL is just running out of gas. For 2H, most recent first: -25, -5, -17, -12.

after last night's debacle, I may just bet on Dallas 1h from now on when they're in a good spot.
