We will ALWAYS play the M/L on favorites and the point spread (-110) on dogs. The team underlined and highlighted blue is the play. There is no point buying in this system, with one exception, if your team is the favorite, and buying down to a (-½) point spread is cheaper than playing the M/L, then by all means, buy the points, otherwise, M/L on all favorites and point spread on dogs. All results will be based on this principle. All lines and standings are based on FINAL lines from ScoresandOdds.com/. If one of the teams we are playing switches from a favorite to a dog, after my initial post, make sure you get the appropriate line if it differs from what I have posted. The wins and losses will be based on who is the dog team, and who is the favorite on ScoresandOdds.com/ final lines. I will try to update my post as often as I can throughout the day if the lines do change. However, it is the individual bettor’s responsibility to get the appropriate line if it differs from the line in my post. System rules and backtest can be found in posts #96 & #876.Comment -

#1089First off, Happy New Year to everyone! Secondly, I never have this type of luck so I have to share. I was playing the LAL series and had them at +14.5 then I did a live bet on Hou, -5. Woke up today to see the final and almost fell out of bed. I got the elusive double in in double OT!!
Totally unrelated I am a Bills fan (no comments) and have lived through 18 years of BS and saw a miracle happen yesterday to get them into the play-offs. Last day of the year was a memorable one for me for sure. Really hoping this system continues to build on it's recent success in 2018.Comment -

#1105I see the same thing so I"m playing it. Good looking out.
I just looked again and they play SAC next so that may be why Skyscraper did not post it but as long as these series don't meet up for a possible "D" I play them all. Plus there is always a chance to win both in the same game with ML and underdog.....it happened recently with LAL @ Hou.Last edited by GGPLAYER; 01-13-18, 09:02 AM.Comment -

#1106Sure you guys can play OKC. I probably will too but OKC is an unofficial play because of the head-to-head filter with Sacto.Comment -

If these two teams were going to face off in their (C) or (D) bet, and both started their series on the same day, like they are, then I would skip both plays until one of them win, then play the other. If both teams would happen to win, then there would be no play from either. But since they start on the same day and face off in (B), my suggestion would be to list both as official plays. Just my opinion, but you are free to run it however you see fit.
The two games are starting only 1 1/2 hours apart. So the SAC game probably won't be over by the start of the OKC game, meaning the SAC game won't have an official grade until after the OKC game was underway. So even if you were going to filter it for a (B) bet matchup, you would have to wait til the conclusion of the SAC game to make that determination. And if SAC was to win, and since the OKC game would have already started, any decision to play OKC at that point would be impossible.Last edited by Wallco99; 01-13-18, 10:46 AM.Comment -

#1108I was thinking OKC would be a skip because it starts after the SAC game, and since the SAC won't end before this game, OKC would have to lose this game to be an "A" bet on their next one. But everyone can play it the way they want.Comment -

#1109This is good conversation guys. My understanding through the years (and Andy can attest to this) is that OKC would be an unofficial play.
The reasons being from Wallco's official head-to-head filter:
1) Sacto starts before OKC therefore Sacto is still in progress when OKC begins its game so OKC would be a no-go
2) Sacto plays OKC later in their chases so that also means OKC is a no-go until Sacto clears it's chase AND OKC continues its losing streak.
3) No where in the official rules say to not apply the head-to-head rule for (A) or (B) matchups
4) I did not randomly select Sacto. As per the rules whichever team with the chase that can end sooner is the team in play. Sacto's D bet is Jan. 19 while OKC's is Jan. 20.
The only way for OKC to be an official play is if Sacto plays OKC against each other but that's not the case though.Comment -

#1110You are absolutely correct the way the rules are written. But after the second or third season, the filter was lifted for the (A) and (B) bets, and apparently I never corrected that on the system rules sheet. That is 100% my fault, and I apologize for any confusion this has caused. I would look into making that correction for next season if you opt not to this season. If I remember correctly, when I rechecked past games for this filter not many, if any, series were affected by playing teams head-head in (A) or (B). The damaging results happened in (C) and (D), and was my basis for changing the filter.Comment -

Head to Head Filter: If a team loses three straight games (ATS and S/U), check that team’s schedule to see who their next four opponents are. If one of these teams is a team that is already being played in Chase 110, skip wagering on the new team until the first team has concluded their series. This is to avoid possibly betting on both sides of a game deep in a series (C-D bets). If at that point, the new team has continued their losing streak, you may then pick up your (A) bet on that team, and begin your four game chase. If two teams qualify at the same time, and are scheduled to play each other at some point in their next four games, the team whose potential four game chase would end sooner will be the play. However, if these two teams are scheduled to face each other in their respective (A) bets, or at least one of them being a (B) bet, this game will be played, taking the (M/L) on the favorite and (-110) on underdog. There is a chance you can win both ends of the bet, and no chance you can lose both, since one team will win. The risk/reward only seems favorable when teams are facing each other in their (A) bets or at least one team being a (B) bet, all other scenarios are just too risky. You may play all teams that qualify, regardless of who their next four opponents are and just take your chances. However, this isn’t recommended. This filter was created to eliminate a possible (D) bet disaster. The wins and losses for the season will be calculated using this filter.Comment -

#1116Glad Portland won last night for the system but I couldn't justify the M/L. Thought about the spread and even looked once or twice for some live bettering but never pulled the trigger. I personally struggle a lot with anything over -200.Comment -
