was a great race, love the racing now...back to old bristol, with a tweak of 2 solid grooves and tight ass racing

beating and banging every lap all race long

Use to be if you pitted on the back stretch at Bristol you were toast but since they reconfigured it's not nearly as bad as it once was and a few actually prefer it now. 15/1 on Johnson is a nice little overlay I think, from his twitter " Our commitment to race trim bit us today " His early practices and pit selection isn't as bad as the odds reflect.

Will have the first pit box once Mears goes a lap down which is a huge advantage at Bristol.

Just as it sounds. A machine with a grinding head was used to rough up the concrete.

They did it as since the resurface cars have been able to drive around side by side and pass either above or below, which meant less rubbing and bumping then there used to be.

Grinding the top groove to reduce grip there is supposed to simulate how it used to be.

Most of top cars point wise did race runs early. I just wasn't impressed how they looked. Think pit selection hurts too but they may pull rabbit from had. It wouldn't be the first time
