alright boys, were off to SONOMA, CA for the 1st of 2 road course races this season....there have been 7 winners here in the last 7 races at sonoma...mostly suprises and 1st time road course winners the last 5 races with kurt Busch, jimmy, kahne, and kyle busch and JPM (1st ever win)...im usually not a big fan of road courses, but they have definatley been fun to watch the last few years

SONOMA is a 1.99 mile road course...the course has a total of 10 turns...

they will have 1 practice, then qualify, then 2 additional practices...

the nationwidewide series will be road racing this saturday at Road America

*i dont watch past races for the road courses and dont put in near the amount of time i do on regular nascar weekends..ill just go over my sonoma notebook and each driver notebook from the track and go from there..ill actually get a few days off early in the week this week!

i never have been a big H2H bettor b4, usually just betting 1 longshot parlay for fun a weekend...but the last month they have just been a gravy train and won every single max. bet on my fav. single H2H....and this is a week i think where i will be more focused on them too as i probably wont have as big roster to win the race as usual, and mostly longshots at that besides 1-2 top 5 road racers

as always everybody please feel free to post ur thoughts/opinions here on the thread...just having a flat out AMAZING season so far and without every1s help it wouldnt be happening...now lets change it up and hit the road course and make some big money again this weekend boys!!!!

Obviously ambrose be favoured this week just watched the last 2 races there kurt and jimmy winning Gordon ran in top 5 both races

.i dont feel it gives me the same advantage like the ovals races do..only 2 weeks out of the whole season i dont watch any past races..but .still doesnt hurt and since im use to it i still might...lol...i may get bored unless i take a road trip this week to play poker...if u notice something tell me cause i may need to re-think not viewing them

its a road course i guess they dont feel it as important, but they sure have been entertaining and fun to watch last few years

they are replaying the qualifying session on friday night at 11pm on speed channel, but it wont be aired "live"

yes i like that session schedule too Opti, never see 3 scheduled practices for normal weekes anymore

but the races have been entertaining and very interesting imo last few years

so they have actually grown on me and i look 4ward to it recently

I hope Ambrose is +500 or better........BTW Sonoma is the closest course for me that the Sprint Cup runs.....Not a good race for me to watch there though. Can't see the whole race. Rather see it on TV.

I like Ambrose and maybe Johnson or Kyle. Can't count out Gordon or Stewart.

I'm not big on road courses. I'd rather see them make lefts all day long.

lots of guys are good but winning a different story...i like jimmy too, not sure if bowyer can actually win the race but 25-1 or better is good odds on him and ill have some of that myself.... as favs RARELY ever win at sonoma latley so few underdogs always a good idea here

plus all greek means is look at theose and every odd will be better at 5dimes, so maybe ambrose will be between 4-5 to 1

if ambrose is less than +400 i wont bet him....but anything at all better i will

but if hes +425 and up im on it...cant leave off the best..and definatley not taking smoke or gordon to win early, they will be in single digits and thats way over-priced imo...

stewart is way better at waktins glen than sonoma...i will definatley bet him in a few weeks at the glen

favs just usually dont come through here, so ill just have 1 early, and its ambrose for me....

ambrose has been strong and fast last few weeks too, so i dont expect anything different at a road course
