I think Edwards was already blowin up before Hamlin got into him. Smoke was coming out just as Hamlin slid up and Hamlin hit him on the left quater panel, the smoke fwas coming from underneath the car.

I hate to admit this, but this race is a hell of lot more exciting than the Indy race I went to last night.
Indy Car may have played their last ""goaty-ropin"" at Texas Motor Speedway. Less than 50,000 attendance and making the cars have less down force, took the 200 plus MPH pack racing out of it. Eddie Gossage track president, promotes all year long, about having the fastest and tightest field of any motorsport event. He was not a happy camper when the drivers met and demanded these changes. I know, I know.........they didn't want another Vegas on their hands, but the place has always been fairly safe, except for a couple really bad incidents here.
