Been lurking for a while, but first-time poster. I'm curious why Gordon isn't getting a little more love at Kansas. Four top 5 finishes in the last 5 Kansas races, and the one that wasn't a top 5 was a DNF in last year's fall race (finished 34th). If you take that DNF out of the mix, he is just as strong as the 48 and the 16 at Kansas over that stretch. I don't know if he's in the mix to win, but I like him in head-to-head matchups this weekend.

gordon runs solid here, just hasnt won in a longtime kansas (2002 was last win at Kansas)

his odds were right where they always are for him, right around the +1000- +1100 when odds were posted

never a bad pick here....havent made but a few early picks so far so not sure if ill have him or not yet

agree he will be a good H2H pick....personally just dont bet alot of H2H, usually just 1 parlay for me a race of H2H as i focus on race winners mostly

just another note on qualiying at kansas:

doesnt really matter where u start here....Half the race winners have started in the top 10, and other half have started 11th-25th starting position...so as long as u dont start too deep in the field, the best cars comee to the front at Kansas even if they dont qualify that well

no real big suprises in qualifying but was interesting

most the big gunners will be from 10-25th starting position which at Kansas is fine since Qualifying not a big difference here...best cars come to the front becuase of the long runs that are common at kansas...but will help the odds get better in our favor imo

was suprised that all the latest to qualify didnt far very well, which is fine by me because it will only help odds...was a great week to only bet 2 early bets, and those 2 i bet were pretty much best amoung best qualifiers among the track favorites...so glad i waited on other drivers i was looking at besides biff and jimmy...odds definatley will be better on the other drivers im considering after that qualifying session I THINK lol

will post up my final roster tomorrow late morning before the race....going to settle in and watch bones jones vs rashaad evans UFC tonight and just relax

I think a bunch of teams avoided the late slots. Doubt it will really sway the books too much. Maybe the public I guess.

also adding edwards+1300...best hes looked in sessions all year....always his #1 track he wants to win at, as he considers Kansas his hometown track...plus u cant ever get him at these odds so ill give him a spot on the team this week, no matter what thats good value on edwards at kansas and his sessions were good

may take 1 more in the morning, but not sure i may just bet a cover or 2 and stay put with condensed roster this week

guess ill just sleep on it

well he was #1 in happy hour for 10-lap averages

and yes i think he can win, not my favorite by any means, but i like him today to have a solid run

thanks mate, what sight do you use for 10 lap avg. I can only find p1 & p2 times this weekend.

EDIT - i've also just realised why he was slow in p1 - setting himself up for good qually position!
