I guess that's a good point. I've probably been frustrated more often by my guy leading comfortably, then having to fight on the restart.

But I still philosophically hate the idea of a race ending under caution.

I just couldntrt imagine caution with 5-7 to go on a short track and just riding it to the checkers under caustion...ewwww....lol

NASCAR used to have a solution for this. They used to red flag the race!

The only time that didn't happen was when there was an accident with under 4-5 laps to go and there was no time to get the track clear. And that didn't happen very often at all.

A race ending under a caution is only really ruined when you have 1st and 2nd going at it nose to tail and there is a crash back in the field which halts them taking it right to the finish. This was never a common occurrence though.

But I do think there would be a lot more caution finishes than you do Matt.

Just looked up some GWC stats on jayski.

Out of 36 races, seven were extended by late-race cautions which set up a GWC finish. If we assume there was no GWC and they all finished under yellow. Would that be too many to spoil it? Still leaves 29 races which finished under green.

Yeah, I think 7 might be too many. And a bad year with 14 would be awful.

14 would be very very unlikely and a complete anomaly.

The current way is very popular, and it won't change. Boogity boogity boogity.

Since TheGreek never put them up none of the other books had anyone to copy, pretty sad Books don't have someone that can make decent odds on there own and have to resort to putting up what ever TheGreek puts up.
