* radiators have been reduced from 5 gallon to 2 gallon capacity (HUGE change)

* overflow tank changed to 1/2 gallon capacity

*springs are softer

*rear spoiler is shorter

*plate is 1/64 of an inch LARGER




i dont think we will be seeing any tandem racing at daytyona..

these rules also are for every race track, not just daytona and dega races

The rule drivers can't communicate on radios with each other makes no sense to me

tandem racing wont be happening at daytona or dega...and a major reason is the radios if nothing else...too dangerous without being able to talk to 1 another, drivers already said they cant and wont do it without communicaton..and these new engine rules arent minor tweeks either...radiator being 60% decreased in size all that need to be said....tandem is gone for good

probably not, but we will have a very good idea...if theres no way to keep it cool and no radios (even in testing), just no way it will work (which is ok either way by me)

Just found the testing being shown live on Speed. Can feel the urge for racing immediately it came on

2 gallons?! I bet that rule change results in one manufacturer having an advantage for this year, or part of it at least. I'm thinking the already well cooled Fords.

That's my thinking and I would rather avoid the big 20 car wrecks that pack racing caused

If they can limit it so they can't do it for more than a few laps it would be good I think. Would make it an actual race for the middle 490 miles and still allow them to team up when needed for a drive to the line.
