I dont know for me now.Really loved Nascar forever,From 95 till maybe 2009 watched every race either live or tape and was always at the various events like qualifing and the race when i lived in Phoenix. But the last couple of years i have kinda fell out of love with Nascar for me it is the constant Commercials whining drivers the fueds and the you bump me i bump you mentality hope you continue your love of nascar but im near the end for me.Im one of the few people who hate the chase.

Surprised this didn't happen earlier the way he kept getting BKs cast off chassis for the last 4 or 5 races.
My guess is he turns up in the re-incarnated Red Bull team.
A third RPM car, or into the #33 might be chances too. If he has a sponsor on board with him.

Didn't see it on the day. I guess I can see why he is irritated waiting around so long. But he is right to take anger management classes because walking out on your sponsors TV time is just plain dumb. At the last race of the year too. And when you are already on thin ice with the relationship.
Oh well. Will make for a more interesting 2012 I think. So all good.

i dont think hes going to go to rpm or red bull but as a last ditch seat, those 2 are BIG dropoffs for kurt
may not have a choice though, at least for next year anyways

Can you really see Smoke putting up with Kurt's antics in his team?

Kurt's a winner. Why not? Sponsorship would be my main concern.

Tony seems like the sort of owner that wouldn't put up with a driver who disrespected his team, and more importantly his sponsors, to me. Winner or not.
Could be wrong, but personally I don't think Smoke would even entertain the idea of taking on Kurt, simply because he's a bad fit for the team harmony.

Respectfully disagree.
Most teams would take him if they believe he won't continue to act badly. But I don't think there is much chance of convincing Rouch, Penske, Hendrick or SHR of that personally.
But of course he will still get a decent ride somewhere, or start his own team, because he does have more talent than most out there.
Not so sure he would see RPM as a step down from Penske for 2012 either btw. They are definitely on the up and he would come in as team leader.

And I doubt Coach Gibbs wants both Busch brothers on the roster either. Apart from them probably preferring not to be together as well.

Think it would be a good fit for that team too. Not really sure how good/bad Kurt is at development and setup stuff, but assuming he is good, a proven veteran is a perfect addition to the team mix.

rpm getting better and being able to get into victory lane are different story(same as mwr)
i know thats ur team, and yes maybe thats the best seat he could get at this late point "this" year, but rpm is a massive step down from penske, and the penske racing record of wins this year, and alnmost every year stands to prove that as well..just my opinion though
talent and racing for wins/championships make a little bad behavior not look so bad....just as every single team would jump through hoops to get kyle too..but kyle is probably most pure talented driver in the garage so that helps too

Agree 100 %....His best bet may be a 1 year deal to show he can keep attitude in check

Here's a rumor for ya!
This comes from a guy who has worked with an F1 team (as part of a contractor company) for quite a few years.
Vodafone wants into NASCAR, as does this years V8 champion Jamie Whincup, and they are negotiating to take over RBR.

Not even sure Vodafone could get approved against Sprint.
I would like to see Whincup in NASCAR though.

Hamlin as CC. Good move. Get that head job out of a car and onto the box. ;-)
Media story about Whincup to NASCAR in local news today. (so my mate may not be too far wrong)
The marque posted a brief clip to social media of the engine being run on a dyno, with the caption:

I'd prefer to keep Dinger in the seat personally.
Love to see Kurt in a third car, but the stability that team has had this year is part of the reason they are poised to compete I think.
Hope the Best Buy rumors are just that...

That's a shame. Apart from having natural talent, he's a bit of a media darling. Would have thought all that was needed was a few wins to make him the perfect sponsor package.
Oh well, as long as Marcos is safe I won't whinge too hard.
