I feel like The Greek's linesman is sharper, and will sometimes take someone on 5D simply based on Greek shortening the odds when 5D have lengthened them.

Tough one to sort out the chances I think.

Starting with the plain stats for the last 8 races here there is some useful info.

Logano's best track by far, about 70% better finish than his average and 30% better on quali performance.

If you look at Kyle's career stats here it looks like a bad track for him. Average for quali and quite a bit below average for results. But if we narrow it down to the last 4½ years he jumps to the top. Plus he owns it in the NW series here.

Even more pronounced that Kyle, Charlotte is Jeff Gordon's 2nd worst track (above Dega) career wise. And even though his last two outings here have ended in bad finishes, he also looks speedy if we drill down to the last 8 races. (he has qualified a little better than average over his career though)

Kahne's best track for career average. About 20% better than his average finish and 30% better than his average start spot. Like Jeff Gordon has had forgettable races here last 2 times out.

Kurt Busch's worst track for qualifying and about 20% below his career average for finishes. He has 2 top 10's in the last 3 chase races here, plus a 4th and a win in the last two regular season races.

Jimmie Johnson has gone 14th, 6th, 1st and 3rd in the last four chase races here. His 39th, 13th, 37th and 28th in non-chase events is what pulls his overall ranking on the table below down.

That seems to be the main chances based on those simple stats to me. Guess I will grab a little on Logano +4200 based on that, but will have to take a closer look at driver ratings etc, and news etc in coming days. As nothing really jumps out at me from that.

Kahne Top 3 +600 and Smoke +200
A couple of bucks each on Ambrose, Dinger and Bayne at big odds. And a bunch of parlays.

Added a couple of extra units on Smoke +1000 (at sportsbook though) so rather big on him.

Not really sweating on a win this week... should have swung the net a bit wider really.
