Outrights:
1. clint bowyer 16-1.... dude has been near front when it counts at this track, helped harvick in the 500 last yr which cost him, also pushed mcmurray to the win, later in july he got the front and had it won if the caution waved 3seconds later, won at dega, monster on the restrictor and gets more value than harvick.
2. Greg Biffle 22-1.... another that has found himself near the front when it counts, pushed mcmurray then got slid past on last lap, has the horsepower to be a factor at these odds.
3. Jeff Burton 20-1... overdue to get a win, has the engine and partners to do it, has been solid for the first 95% of the restrictor plate races of late, was running great at dega with jr until he wrecked him, another value play.

Jamie Mcmurray Even over Kyle Busch.... kyle has been pretty solid then gets into troubles on these big tracks, jamie won here last year, momentum continues for the 1 team.Comment -

1. kurt busch- got in a single 4 car line and was pushed by mcmurray to the victory
2. Jamie Mcmurray- wasnt a factor for the most part, running 4th on final turn, pushed kurt to win
3. ryan newman- non-threat until late when they stuck in line, gave up bottom, blew his shot
4. jimmie johnson- had glimpses but never had the feeling he would take it
*5. Greg Biffle- spent a lot of time in the top10, seems to like the two car pushes
6. Jeff Gordon- didnt have the help from the mates he expected, if he did might have been a bigger threat
*7. Kevin Harvick- really played the mouse with jeff burton, tailed perfectly until the caution, huge threat
*8. Jeff Burton- seemed to be top threat all-night long
*9. Clint Bowyer- also RCR power had this guy up near front, major contender
10. bobby labonte- never knew he was even here
11. tony stewart- not the typical smoke night, only memeber him wrecking waltrip
12. Hamlin- quiet all night then got nosed up with newman, had the win w/o the line DQ
13. Kenseth- never factored, baby cant come soon enough
14. Cope- he finished 14th? really, guess those accidents helped
15. Waltrip- never really fired, mishap with stewart and no real teammates to tag with
16. kyle busch- had glimpses of being a rocketship, taken out by martins push, no real friends appeared
17. Martin- not sure here, was up to 6th when he wrecked out
18. Logano- was pushing well with johnson, a good one to get you to the front prior to wreckage
*19. Dale jr- spent some time up front, taken out in others mishap, should have been better
20. Montoya- wrecked out, never really showed what was under the hood
21. Edwards- wrecked out with smith couldnt really gauge his night either
22. Smith- moved back and forth some, main culprit for the spill tonight
23. Conway- shouldnt have even been in this field, id win rookie of the year to if i were only one eligible
24. Kahne- not inspiring start nor change from his petty misfortunes a year ago.Comment -
I was a little less impressed with the RCR cars than you. When it came time to race at the end Bowyer/Burton paired just weren't on the pace to go for it for some reason. And all the Hendrick cars looked stronger than I expected (hoped).
Wish I had taken an early future on Dale Jr now..Comment -
i think a lot of that was because those top 4 played check out and didnt allow them to catch up while the others really did keep fighting each other too long to make up the distanceComment -

They are both likely to break down, hauling those junky TRD engines around the track with them.
I'm so glad Ambrose is outa there after seeing Kahne's engine expire after just a couple of laps in the shootout. Think he had 4 or 5 DNFs that way last year, and another 4 or 5 races where a cylinder dropped or something else engine related put him out of any contention..Comment -
