Alright guys we are off the BRISTOL MOTOR SPEEDWAY this weekend where we will have Trucks and Cup series both in action on the dirt surface. Srry a little late this week been under the weather since last weekend. The Xfinity series has this weekend off and will return next weekend at The Paperclip. I would rather just have a regular race here but is what it is. Here is the TV schedule for the races, and keep in mind we have hear races for these. Both series have practice on Friday starting with trucks @ 5:30pm followed by Cup and both will be airing on FS1. Both series will have qualifying races on FS2 Saturday evening starting with trucks @ 4:30pm and followed by Cup. The truck race will be Saturday night @ 8pm on FS1. The Cup race will be Easter night @ 7pm and will air on the main FOX channel.
Good Luck!!!!

My early picks are for cup are:
1.0u Chase Brisco +1000
0.5u Joey Logano +1400
Harvick's odds look good but he has raced like shit here the last two years. Maybe Briscoe has taught him something about dirt track racing since last year.
I'd like to take Briscoe in trucks but not sure if that truck will be good enough especially with Byron and Logano in good equipment.

early for Cup:
Briscoe (+1000)
Suarez (+2500)
Stenhouse Jr. (+2500)
will only add 1 more single to win, but gonna wait to decide who that is. maybe wait for some odds to shift around. Haven't decided about trucks yet besides ill prob try 1 parlay. Still reading over props. Just liked the # on the 2 longer shots I played early. Both have been good here in past.
I'm sure u can look on Nascar site and they will if u wanna read specific rules for it.

So from what I can tell there will be a random drawing tonight at 5:30PM for Cup Series that will determine which heat each driver will be in and their starting position in that heat. On Saturday starting at 6:00PM there will be four heats, one with ten drivers, three with nine. Drivers will be awarded based on their finishing position (10 points for first, 9 for second, etc.) and one point for each position gained in the heat compared to their starting position (if you start 5th and finish 1st you get four points). No points deducted for losing positions. Driver with the most points wins the pole, ties decided by owners points.
Could be fun to bet on depending on whether or not the books are paying attention and take down qualifying odds during the draw and adjust the odds afterwards. The only book I see with odds on qualifying is Caesars and it is listed as "Fastest Qualifier". Gotta assume they'll be paying out the pole winner since fastest doesn't really mean anything in this context. Custer won it last year starting in 9th and finishing 2nd. He did gain 2 spots on a bit of a fluke of a restart but won it with 16 points. Bell was 2nd with 14 points, Reddick 3rd with 13, Briscoe 4th with 12, and Larson 5th with 11.
I'm guessing the winner will need 15 points this year. No use in betting on anyone starting 1st through 3rd. Gonna look for Bell, Reddick, Briscoe, or Larson to be starting in about 4th through 7th and to not have any of the other favorites starting ahead of them.
But in reality they'll probably adjust the odds or just take them down completely and there will be no value here. Time well spent.

Great analysis biig guy.
Need to keep an eye out for when they are going to announce heat lineups.

Taking a longer shot stab early for trucks with Friesen (+1600). Obv won't play low favs single but will try 1 fav for a parlay with Cup. Will post rest of lineup for trucks later. Prob just play 2 more tota single.

Caesars took down their Fastest Qualifier bet
Truck heats start at 4:30PM, Cup heats scheduled for 6:00PM. Looks like there is a ~50% chance of showers between 1:00PM and 4:00PM. According to Bob Pockrass on Twitter if the Truck heats don't happen Logano will be a DNQ.

Keeping an eye on this lot to draw good start spots.
Maybe Blaney and Suarez too if good start spots.

Larson starting 6th in Heat 3 with Preece, Ware, T. Dillon, LaJoie, and Jones in front of him. If I was able to bet on this I think I'd assume he is going to win his heat and end up with 15 points and then look at who can get to 16 (the #5 is 4th in owners points which is the tie breaker, so Chastain, Bell, and Harvick could beat him with 15).
To get 16 you need to start in 7th-10th. If starting 7th/8th you need need to win your heat, 9th/10th you gotta get second or better.
Bell starting 8th in Heat 1 and can tie Larson with 15 points by finishing 2nd and will win the tie breaker but he has Reddick, A. Dillon, Haley, Bowman, and Stenhouse starting in front of him.
Hamlin starting 8th in Heat 2 and will have to win to get 17 points. He has Byron, Briscoe, and Blaney starting in front of him.
Logano starting 8th in Heat 4 and will have to win to get 17 points. He has Busch, Truex, and Suarez starting in front of him.
I think I'd go with Larson +400 (Bet365) if they were operating in MD.

Friesen (+1600)
Hocevar (+2500)
Rhodes (+450) parlayed 2 cup winners
OK thats it for me. Just didn't think any of the favs were worth it single so just going with 2 longshots for big rewards and Rhodes winner parlayed. Be nice to get a couple favs covered for Cup or even better with a big long shot win. Wont live bet this obv. Hopefully its at least a good watch. Good Luck!!!!
