TEXAS PLAYOFF RACES (Xfinity/Cup)--

Alright guys we are headed down to Texas Motor Speedway this weekend for playoff action in Xfinity and the Cup series. The Xfinity race will be Saturday NIGHT at 8:30pm on NBCS. The Cup race will be Sunday afternoon at 3pm on NBCS. The next 2 weekends (Phoenix and Miami) will both be triple headers to finish off the season..

TEXAS Motor Speedway was repaved and reconfigured folloeing the 2016 nascar season, so the cup series has only had 5 races here with this new surface and track changes. This is very important to remember when handicapping this weekends races. The banking was lowered from 24 to 20 degrees in turns 1 and 2 and the racetrack was widened in most areas. Tire wear hasnt been an issue since the repave.

This was a wild race this spring with a lot of cars having mechanical, pit stop and other issues. Both Kyle B amd Blaney both had issues while leading the race! I Had a rare losing weekend last week, so Im hoping to bounce back here. Been a great ride this season and HATE seeing it come to an end in just 3 weeks, but hopefully we can all pad our accounts even more before the 2019 season's end. GOOD LUCK this weekend!!!

Here's what I think but Unlearn sharper at quali really, I dont usually bet it.

Most of these seem a bit heavily juiced to the favorites to me.


Hamilton -286 should beat Bottas, he has started front row almost every race here.

Vettel +130 v LeClerc is some value as Vettel has a couple of poles at the track.

Albon +600 v Verstappen seems over the odds to me too. Albon has been very close to Max times in recent races and has actually outscored Max since they have been team mates.

No way could take Sainz -250 over Norris, but no reall reason to bet Norris to beat him either.

Toss a coin between Kimi and Gionvazzi these days.

Dan -139 to beat Hulk probably about right odds.

Kyvatt +110 v Gasly would be my lean

Grosjean Kmag toss a coin

Stroll +275 v Perez probably a little bit of value. We know Lance is a crappy qualifier but Perez record here is kind of mediocre quali wise.

Kubica v Russle... Russel almost always wins it, but -1000? no thanks

Hamilton +160 to beat LeClerc... but only becuase Ferrari stuff it up so often when expected to be strognest lol. I also think Seb will be faster than LeClerc here.

Bottas should beat Albon, but not at -1000 thanks'

I dont usually bet on the team qualis. The value is in fading the poor teams, like when u can get McLaren or Renault vs the Haas cars for example. Dimes usually has those on Wednesdays. If you're funded at dimes, I will pm you my plays when I make them
